The Power of Prayer

"Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks." (1 Thessalonians 5: 17-18)
From time to time, I practice telekinesis i.e. moving objects with thought, at least I try to. (smile) While I was at the bookshop yesterday, I lifted a book in thought and dropped it on the floor. What I was effectively doing was playing with light/energy. In my mind's eye, I saw the book as light moving to the floor which was also light. A woman came along and picked up a book from the pile of books where I had been playing with light, but didn't drop it on the floor. Then I had a thought. What if someone came and picked up a book and dropped it on the floor and I wasn't around to witness this with my senses, would the experiment have been a failure or a success? Is an experiment successful only when there is an observer?

On the way home on the bus, I felt cramped as there wasn't enough leg room between me and the passenger sitting in front of me. I wished I could travel in comfort. I closed my eyes and instantly felt comfortable. I had entered the formless state of being that is not limited by time or space. After a while I had a thought: "Is a prayer answered only when you can discern the evidence through your senses?" I opened my eyes and realised the passenger had moved to another seat. I now had ample leg room. I wouldn't have known my prayer had been answered if my eyes were still closed. Put another way, just because the wish hadn't manifested instantly doesn't mean the wish wasn't answered. The moment the thought went out it was so, but in the invisible Spirit.

Now, what do I mean by prayer? A prayer is an acknowledgement of or merging with the omnipotent Spirit within and without. Prayer is being in silence when I am being Spirit or putting out a wish or intent. Spirit doesn't operate the way we do as humans. For instance, yesterday evening I had a stomach ache. I acknowledged in thought that I am perfect health. Based on the physical senses, my prayer didn't appear to have been answered. But I knew I was already perfect. How? By going beyond the senses. Spirit has no feelings or sensations, otherwise it will be material. I know I am one with Spirit when I am still and feel blissful. This stillness is then translated into the human realm as "no pain." or health. To look for evidence first in the human with the senses is not spiritual prayer but the human idea of prayer. The irony is that when you see, feel, taste, hear and smell nothing, you are actually being Spirit. But your senses will have you believe there is nothing there because your prayer has not been answered. What a paradox!

I believe all prayers are answered in Spirit but how they are manifested depends on one's expectation. The following is a summary of the different levels of manifestation.

Manifesting at different densities
In simplicity, this is how it works in the densities most pertinent for our purposes:

3D: Spirit -> Thought -> Emotion -> Effort -> Materialization
4D: Spirit -> Thought -> Emotion -> Materialization
5D: Spirit -> Thought -> Materialization
6D: Spirit -> Materialization

Moving into the 4th density it becomes important to clarify one's feelings, because one will get whatever one feels. So, the necessary processing is about getting to feel what one really wants to feel. Moving into the 5th density, the issue would be to think what one really intends. Manifesting Your Reality
Let's say someone who only believes in what she can sense prays for healing. While she might know what it feels like to be in perfect health, which she already is in Spirit, because she believes she has to do something, she will never expect instant manifestation. This individual might go to a doctor, take pills, have therapy, etc and expect healing that way.

There are those who believe that one has to feel the emotional state as evidence that you have healing. "How would you feel if you were in perfect health?" People in this paradigm believe emotion is a vital part of manifestation.

There are people who need to visualise the result of prayer. Others ponder on truth principles and once one realises the truth, the realisation is what brings about the manifestation.

And there are those who have realised that there is only one reality, and it is Spirit. As it is written in the scriptures:

"Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit." (Zechariah 4: 6)
Praying is simply acknowledging what already exists as formless Spirit and it is so without having to do, use your will power, or realise any truth.

I believe one can delay or prevent manifestations by one's belief. Some of the obstacles to instant manifestations are: believing that nothing comes for free; believing that you have to play your part; and believing in cause and effect.

If you believe nothing comes for free, it's going to be pretty difficult to accept instant manifestation when you're so used to exchange. If you believe in God, what will you exchange for healing? What do you give someone who has everything?

The second belief that you have to play your part is the biggest obstacle of all. If you believe the omnipotent One needs help to heal you, and you have to play your part by using your powers, the Intelligence will let you get on with it. Once you have exhausted all your resources and your fancy techniques, you can then turn to the Intelligence within you. You soon realise that the Intelligence works perfectly without mortal help. You only need to trust in Spirit.

The third obstacle is the belief in cause and effect. If you are always looking for a cause for something, you will expect to root out the cause or exchange one cause for another which is manifested as the effect. If you are sick you look for a physical cause from your doctor, emotional and mental cause from your psychiatrist, or spiritual cause from your priest. I believe Spirit is causeless. By this I mean all Good already exists as the formless without beginning or end. You only need to know it is present. Thus, if you are ill you don't bother looking for a cause you simply know who you are as health and let it happen. Looking for causes and rooting out causes might delay or even prevent manifestations.

Incidentally, last night I watched an episode of Star Trek The Next Generation called True Q. A young crew member, Amanda, discovers she has developed powers to change and create reality instantly. A Q ambassador, from the Q-Continuum of omnipotent beings, is sent to investigate whether Amanda is a true Q. Q creates situations to test Amanda's powers out which confirm she is a Q. Q decides he must guide Amanda as to how to use her powers.

At one point, Amanda is assisting the doctor with an experiment to see how long it will take to grow some specimens. Q decides to use this as an opportunity to teach Amanda how to speed up the process. She completes the experiment in no time. The doctor is not happy with the result as she had expected it in human time. Q tells Amanda she shouldn't waste her time with human effort; she is a Q and should act like one.

Amanda discovers that her parents were also Qs. Apparently, her parents had agreed that while they were living on earth they will not use their powers. But they broke their agreement and were killed by a vortex of Energy while they were living in Kansas. (Hmmm! Reminds me of how the wicked witch of the East was killed in the movie, The Wizard of Oz.) Q tells Amanda that the Qs have decided to let her live but she also has to make a decision: she can live as a mortal and not use her powers, or she can move to the Q-Continuum and live as a Q. Amanda decides to stay on the ship. Soon there is an ecological emergency where a planet close by faces destruction. Amanda instantly uses her powers to save the planet and its inhabitants. This makes her realise that she should stop denying who she is. She is a Q. She has to say goodbye to her friends.

Being a Q is rather like living in the realm of Spirit, I reckon.

By the way, there is much talk within the spiritual community about what it means to ascend. I believe ascension is simply a shift of perspective or operating from a new paradigm. Right now on earth there are people living from different paradigms. Each time your world view changes you have "ascended" into another "dimension." When you live as Spirit, you no longer or can no longer act in the way you used to. While you might still look the same in human form, your perspective of the world makes you have different experiences which others might consider miraculous. This is one reason why one should never judge another's "path," nor impose one's beliefs and expectations on another.

When I pray I am thankful for what already is. I do or think nothing and let it happen.

Light and Love,
Q/Enocia

Judging No One's Path

"There are two main lines of evolution, that which concerns matter and form, and that which concerns the soul, the unconsciousness aspect, the thinker in manifestation. For each of these the path of progress differs and each pursues its course. As has been noted, for a long period of time, the soul identifies itself with the form aspect and endeavours to follow the "Path of Death" for that is what the dark path is in fact to the thinker. Later, through strenuous effort, this identification ceases; the soul becomes aware of itself, and of its own path, or dharma, and follows then the way of light and of life." (The Light of the Soul: The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, with commentary by Alice A Bailey)
You know it can be so tempting to instruct others how to live their lives. You hear someone saying what you consider to be lies, what do you do? Do you tell him outright that what he is saying is not Truth as you understand Truth or do you honour the person's right to "evolve" in the way that is right for him?

I have observed that many people identify themselves as their bodies, family background, race, class, gender, nationality, education, occupation, religious beliefs, intellect or emotions. Someone whose world-view is dominated by forms is not going to understand a reality where the individual sees herself as a no-thing, the formless Spirit. I used to experienced the world through forms. Much of what I'm experiencing now will be gobbledygook to the old me. Amazing how people change. I'm not saying it's a change for the good, it is simply a reality that works for me now.

Someone who identifies herself as Spirit finds human thoughts and beliefs meaningless. When you know you are Spirit that is unborn/undying, you are not going to engage in a debate about what kinds of food can make you sick or kill you. It is meaningless.

When you know you are One with all life, all forms of discrimination or separatist doctrines are meaningless.

When you know that you are Truth, you are not going to go looking for a teacher. If you so choose, you could commune with like-minded people to share experiences, but you never defend your experiences. You appreciate that Truth has infinite forms of expressions. You respect other people's paths and don't impose your way on others.

A personal example is that I find the study of human DNA to understand the origin of diseases and to discover various cures meaningless. From my perspective, there is no cause, only Spirit which is causeless. Why study that which is an illusion? Trying to explain this view to someone who has a different world view is pointless. Truth has to be experienced not proselytised.

It would seem that there are two dominant paths: those on the path of forms who believe they are evolving and getting better and better; and those who know that reality is formless and is now, therefore, there is no evolution, life is simply an expression of what is.

It is not up to me to show others how to live their lives. All is unfolding perfectly according to people's beliefs.

I accept people are what they are.
I judge no one's path.

A Marriage Made in Heaven

Yesterday morning on the bus a young man smiled at me and I smiled back. He sat behind me. He asked me where I was going. I said I was off to do some grocery shopping.

He said, "Is it possible for me to get to know you better?"

There are times when I'm in a mood to play along but at that moment I said, "You already know me."
"What?"
"You already know me. There is a place where we are all connected, and in that place you already know all there is to know about me."
"But I want to get to know you."
"You already do. We are One"
"OK, I see what you mean. Is it possible to get to know you another way?"
"It's not possible," I said. "I am not available."

He said he understood and it was fine.

"You know, I see so much good in your life," I said. "What else can there be but good in your life."
"Yeah, but it doesn't matter whether my life is good or bad, I know God is there."
"Reminds me of my favourite song, Let's Stay Together."

I sang part of the song for him,

"Loving you whether, whether times are good or bad, happy or sad."
He smiled. "It's like a marriage, innit?" he said. "God loves you no matter what's going on in my life."
"Yeah."
"God knows why my life has turned out the way it has, but I know He is walking with me every step of the way."
"Yeah He is."

Soon, it was time for me to get off. With a final wave he was gone. He didn't get a girlfriend that morning but we remembered our eternal friendship and marriage in Heaven.

Where Fear is Wasted

"There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear." (1 John 4: 18)
The other day, my mother said a dog jumped at her while she was walking around our neighbourhood. The dog apparently was very friendly and he simply wanted to play. My mother is scared of dogs. She didn’t run off as she was tempted to, but let the dog frolic around her. I told her the dog must have sensed she liked dogs regardless of her fear.

The next day I came across another friendly dog. From my mother’s description, I knew it was the same dog. While he didn’t jump at me, he bounded all over the place. I mentioned to his guardian that he seemed really affectionate. He said he was. I thought to myself that my mother’s fear had been totally wasted on that dog. That dog wouldn’t know fear if it bit him on the nose. He would probably yelp with delight. Naturally, I teased my mother about this when I got home.

When I am not thinking of anyone or planning anything; when I am fully immersed in whatever I’m doing; when I am in silence; I am free. In that space I’m like the playful dog who cannot sense another’s fear or knows what fear is. In that state there is no place for fear. In that space I am being myself - Love.

I am Bliss
I am Joy
I am Love

Thought For Today – Greed

Greed is a human construct that has nothing to do with Source. Some teach that people who hoard are coming from a place of fear and greed. In that case, how come nature, that is inspired from Source, produces in superabundance? Does a fruit tree not produce fruits in abundance whether someone is there to enjoy them or not?

Hasn’t science revealed that a man’s semen contains millions of sperms? If it only takes one to fertilise an egg, what is he going to do with the other millions? Unless he’s been greedy.

If man is greedy, then God is Greed.

I rest my case.

How One Can Make Something Out of Nothing

"Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment." (John 7: 24)
You've arranged to meet up with a friend at a particular time. You don't have a mobile phone so your friend can't reach you. You wait and wait and your friend doesn't arrive. After forty five minutes you decide you've had enough and you leave. You are very angry with your friend for letting you down. You return home in a foul mood. There is a message on your answer phone. It's your friend wondering if you're OK as she'd arrived as planned and you hadn't turned up. You are too angry to listen to your friend's lies. You wipe off her message.

To calm down, you turn the television on. As you watch the news you have a thought that it's on at the wrong time. It is then you realise that the clocks have gone forward and you had forgotten to change your watch. You had arrived at the right time in your reality, of course, but an hour late for your friend. You phone your friend to apologise. You have a good laugh about it and you arrange to meet up later.

A similar thing happened to my mother the other day. She got dressed to go to church. It was only after she'd left that I realised the clock had gone forward. I wondered whether she would realise on her way to church. In her reality she was still early. She arrived at church around 10.20 am expecting the church to be empty. She was stunned to find so many people in the church and that the service had already started. Then she realised it was actually 11.20 am and she was late.

The above example is how one can make something out of nothing. In your mind you can create situations that have nothing to do with reality. You can even make yourself ill based on your interpretation of reality and all because of nothing.

Never judge according to appearances. You never know when someone's living in another time zone and making something out of nothing.

The Hologram

"The Cosmic Director has written His own plays, and assembled the tremendous casts for the pageant of the centuries. From the dark booth of eternity, He pours His creative beam through the films of successive ages, and the pictures are thrown on the screen of space. Just as the motion-picture images appear to be real, but are only combinations of light and shade, so is the universal variety a delusive seeming. The planetary spheres, with their countless forms of life, are naught but figures in a cosmic motion picture, temporarily true to five sense perceptions as the scenes are cast on the screen of man's consciousness by the infinite creative beam.

A cinema audience can look up and see that all screen images are appearing through the instrumentality of one imageless beam of light. The colorful universal drama is similarly issuing from the single white light of a Cosmic Source. With inconceivable ingenuity God is staging an entertainment for His human children, making them actors as well as audience in His planetary theater."Autobiography of a Yogi
In the sci-fi TV series, Star Trek Voyager, the ship's doctor is a hologram. He's actually one of my favourite characters. What I find so funny about his character is he tries so hard to be a human. He believes acting like a human will give him immense freedom. The result is he ends up having the biggest ego going. Hahaha!

I love the analogy of the universe as a "motion-picture." The movie reel represents infinite Source. The projector is one's consciousness which makes the choice as to what one experiences. What is projected is a holographic representation of Source or what one believes is a holographic representation of Source. The hologram is no more real than the actors you see on a movie screen. Human suffering is the result of identification with the many holograms.

For instance, last week I felt as if I had put on weight. I stood on the scale and it confirmed I had put on 7 pounds. Shock horror! How could this have happened? There is no cause, right? The only choice I had was to revert to Source. I immersed myself in Source and connected to the motion picture of myself looking 7 pounds lighter. Next, I ran this movie through the projector by affirming that "I am 8 stones" (112 pounds). This was then projected "on the "screen of space." The weight fell off effortlessly. I am now back to my ideal holographic figure.

Why, you may wonder, didn't I try to change the hologram? When you are watching a movie at the cinema and there is a problem with the movie, you don't try to change the movie at the audience level. The movie is already perfect. You trust in the operator to project the movie for all to enjoy. This is why it's pointless changing one's life at the human level. Human experiences, that which we perceive through our senses, are holograms or light projections. I didn't go on a diet because I know that all food products are holograms. If you don't like what you are experiencing go to Source, where there are infinite ways of being, and then project the hologram that closely matches your ideals.

Yup, life in forms are holograms. They are fun to experience as long as I remember that they are not real.

With love,

The Impersonal is Personal is Impersonal

The other day I was in a coffee shop when the song Let's Get It On by the late Rhythm and Blues singer, Marvin Gaye, came on. I abandoned the book I was reading and enjoyed the music. What an amazing song!

Later, I pondered over how we all contribute to humanity. Marvin Gaye has long since passed away from the human scene and yet, we are still being blessed with his music. Whether Marvin wrote the music or someone else did, they probably started off from personal experience or observation. Then the songs were put out into the public sphere for all of us to enjoy. In the human experience, things seem to move from the personal to the impersonal.

I wonder who owns the publishing rights? Now that music can be easily accessed on the Internet, it raises the question about copyright. Who owns the ideas? It doesn't matter who has the publishing rights or who enjoys the royalties, we can all enjoy the songs from an impersonal perspective.

In the same way, my stories and articles are based on principles I'm living now. The moment I publish these ideas on the Internet, they are no longer personal but impersonal. I have no control over how they are interpreted nor do I particularly care.

What is personal becomes impersonal. I believe this applies to all human experiences, even those considered to be horrific. There have been many stories from survivors of various wars that were personal at the time but have now become impersonal stories, which many readers have found inspirational.

I believe, ultimately, the originator of all ideas is the Impersonal Self. This Impersonal Self expresses through all in a personal and individual way. Thus, the Impersonal takes form as the personal and as we live our lives and share them with others, our stories and songs become impersonal. Someone inspired by a story or song makes it personal and so it goes on.

No matter how we live our lives, each of us is valuable. Our life stories/songs are always meaningful to others whether we choose to share them or not.

The Impersonal is the Personal is the Impersonal ad infinitum.

Light and Love.

Peace Is

"Forget the self and you will fear nothing, in whatever level of awareness you find yourself to be." Don Juan Matus, The Active Side of Infinity
Imagine you are travelling on the bus and someone behind you is gasbagging on her mobile phone. Her voice is so loud, you can feel a headache coming on. You wish you can have some peace. Then you hear the Voice within, which I sometimes call Clever Clogs (CC).

CC: What if this woman wasn't sitting behind you, would you feel peace?

EJ: Maybe.

CC: Imagine she's not here, disconnect from her voice. Do you feel peace?

EJ: A bit, but I still feel a bit funny, can't describe the feeling but I feel kind of strange.

CC: What if you didn't have any emotions to feel, would you have peace?

EJ: Let me see...no, my thoughts are all over the place. I can't think straight.

CC: OK, what if you didn't have a mind to think? What if you had no thoughts, would you still have peace?

EJ: Hmmm! I see where you're going with this CC.

CC: What if you didn't exist as a human, would you have peace?

EJ: Yeah, I would have peace...no...there would be peace because peace exists independent of the human experience, right?

CC: Correct.

EJ: Peace has no beginning or end, it is forever formless.

CC: Correct. Peace is.

EJ: I remember having the following insight: "The world will appear to be in pieces until we realise peace is."

CC: Who do you think gave you that insight?

EJ: Clever Clogs, naturally.

CC: The one and only.

EJ: Since peace already exists as the formless, this means love already exists without end as the formless, right?

CC: Correct.

EJ: This also means that no one can bring more love into the world. Hang on a minute...what about those teachers who claim they are here to bring more love into the world?

CC: Pure delusion! All There Is exists as formlessness. It is who you are. Before you appeared as the human form you were and always are the formless.

EJ: Since all exists as the formless, how is the formless made manifest?

CC: By first of all realising that Love, Peace, Wisdom, Perfection, Harmony, Power, All Good is and who you are. You are to constantly remember who you are. In fact, that is what it means to be spiritual - a practice or ritual of remembering that one is Spirit.

The Intelligence of All There Is works perfectly, but if you believe you know better or can help as a human, you lose sight of what is already present and perfect.

Once you are aware of the ever-existing Presence of All There Is, you trust in It to work through you, the human. Let's say you're contemplating the formless Love which is infinite. This Love will be translated in the human realm according to your expectation. Never presume that the Intelligence works through all in an identical manner. For example, people tend to interpret someone smiling as expressing affection, admiration or friendship. There are times when someone is smiling at you but having not so nice thoughts about you. So never presume what is right for you is always right for everyone. The Intelligence of All There Is manifests according to your preference as a human. The same applies for all species. Thus, the Intelligence works on an individual basis. Remember that the Intelligence is not under any law humans have dreamed up laws of nature, physics, material, and cause and effect. All There Is is causeless. Expect the unexpected.

EJ: So what you're saying is that the Formless, such as peace, has always existed. It is causeless i.e. not under any laws and can thus appear in a human form if we let it.

CC: Correct. Your job is to rest in the truth, trust in who you are and let the formless Love, Peace, Wisdom etc be without laws and rules. The Intelligence already knows you more than you know yourself. You can't force it. Don't try to heal or make things happen. All Good exists and will manifest if you get out of the way. This is what I mean when I spoke through Don Juan Matus: "Forget the self and you will fear nothing." Trust and let the All There Is work through you, through others or appear as It will.

EJ: Thank you CC.

CC: My pleasure.

With love,
Enocia

Withdrawing into the Light

"It should not be imagined that the truth about maya was understood only by the rishis. The Old Testament prophets called maya by the name of Satan (lit., in Hebrew, "the adversary"). The Greek Testament, as an equivalent for Satan, uses diabolos or devil. Satan or Maya is the Cosmic Magician who produces multiplicity of forms to hide the One Formless Verity. In God's plan and play (lila), the sole function of Satan or Maya is to attempt to divert man from Spirit to matter; from Reality to unreality." (Autobiography of a Yogi, by Paramahansa Yogananda, p. 322)
Yesterday, I felt extremely tired, so exhausted that I didn't stay up to watch Star Trek. The way I deal with fatigue is I withdraw into myself. I had a bath and went to bed.

For me, exhaustion is an indication that I have been identifying myself with what I'm doing at the time. I find I can get tired when playing the "daughter" role. All roles require tremendous amount of energy to sustain. While I know I have unlimited energy, the moment I identify myself as a person, which is simply a projection of the ego, I am being distracted from my real Self that is unlimited energy. This is why I make it a constant practice to withdraw or unsubscribe from what I'm doing or from other people's expectations of me.

One way I've heard how we project false images is in The Tibetan Book of the Dead. The book is a guide of what one should expect after death. A guide or loved one is supposed to read out the instructions to an individual going through the process of dying. It is believed that at the moment of death everyone encounters the Clear Light. Many people who have had near death experiences have described this Light. The Clear Light is the first opportunity for the individual to be liberated from the cycle of life and death or attachment to forms. However, if you have no point of reference of this Light, which is actually your true nature and Ultimate Reality, you are likely to be in awe of the Light, think you are not worthy, feel ashamed or even scared. You might reject the Light. As you have unlimited energy, you might hallucinate or dream up different entities in line with your belief. Thus, if you were raised a Christian you might see Jesus, Mary or saints; a Buddhist might see different Buddhas etc. As this book is written from a Tibetan Buddhist perspective, it talks about the many Buddhist deities that might emerge. Some of them are there to help liberate you; while others are there to entice you back into the world of forms.

One thing that fascinates me is how we are capable of dreaming different realities so we can maintain the status quo of what is real for us. When you are used to seeing yourself as a form, it must come as a big shock to realise you are formless. If you are used to practising meditation and have been one with the formless Light within, you already know who you are. If you do not have any experience of your true nature, you're likely to dream up anything to perpetuate the illusion of being human. In fact, this is what is happening right now in this dream world we call earth; our dreams are distracting us from our real Spirit Self.

Just as we can easily dream up experiences which are mere projections of the ego, we can just as easily withdraw from these projections. Projections, for me, are like the sun's rays being sent out into the universe. When I withdraw or unsubscribe from all ego projections manifesting as beliefs, roles and expectations, I am withdrawing all rays back to myself. I am being the sun. I am being myself - the formless Self.

There is obviously a reason now why I am in form. I won't be writing these words if I was formless. While I am happy to play my role as human, I do so with the full awareness that all roles are projections of the ego, which are not who I am. The real Me is beyond all definitions.

I am neither this nor that. I am No-thing.

Love and Light,
Enocia

See No Evil, Hear No Evil, Speak No Evil

"Thou art of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity." (Habakkuk 1: 17)
Have you ever seen pictures of the three monkeys that represent the saying, "see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil?" Imagine what the world would be like if we were to live this principle as truth. How does this principle work?

I believe Source is infinite Love. Love doesn't understand human dramas such as fear, sickness, lack, or death because they arise from a belief there is such a thing as beginning and end. When an experience arises out of this belief it is not of infinite Love, therefore they do not exist and are not real. Yet in the human realm suffering seem very much real, just like pain feels very much real when you are experiencing it. How come? Because the human imagination can dream something out of nothing. For you to dream anything it has to have a beginning and an end. Human lives seem real enough but it doesn't mean they are real. Humans have a birth date signifying a beginning. Yet the Spirit has always existed. Which is real: the human or Spirit? To declare that one is human is to speak evil, a lie.

This computer I'm typing on and the blog where I post ideas is nothing but a dream. In truth, we are already one with all truth. What is the point of communicating my perception of truth when all is known? To do this we have to pretend we don't know. This pretence is a game, a dream that has nothing to do with reality. Spirit is infinite truth. It is another example of speaking evil.

One night while I was walking home I thanked the universe for taking me home safely. I had a thought: "How can you arrive home when you are already home?" As humans, we perceive space as real and believe it takes time to get from point A to point B. In truth, there is no space nor is there any need for Spirit to travel as Spirit is already here, there and everywhere. Thus, travelling in the human sense of the word is dreaming something out of nothing. Another example of speaking evil.

Recently, I had an interesting insight into the notion of "seeing no evil." For weeks my mother and her friends had been planning an evening out to a new restaurant. She planned to be back late which she hasn't done for a while. She even requested that I get home early so someone will be in the flat. I told her I would be back at 7 pm. When I arrived she was still at home. She said the man who was supposed to drive her to the restaurant had fallen ill so their outing was cancelled. It didn't seem real that she was still at home. To me she had actually gone to the restaurant. Was I dreaming the whole thing?

You could argue that maybe it was the best for all concerned and maybe something "bad" could have happened and they were being protected. I don't buy this at all. Going out with one's friends to have a good time is a way of demonstrating infinite love. There can be no fear in love. Disease is not of Love therefore it is a figment of the human imagination.

Last Saturday, my mother planned to visit her friend. While I was out I had a thought that she was out with her friend. I even knew what time she coming back home. When I got home I couldn't wait to find out how her day went. She said she dressed up, left the house but was in so much agony she had to return home. This didn't seem real. I had the distinct impression she had visited her friend, as planned, and had a fabulous day. What's going on with me? Am I going barmy?

It was then I had a realisation. You see in my reality everything is operating perfectly. The moment my mother had the idea of expressing infinite Love by going out to the restaurant or visiting her friend, I could see it all perfectly. This means that at every moment, any decision we make, there are always two realities going on: the one where one's highest expectations are already met which are as real as this computer is real; and the reality where you are operating in the human realm of possibility where things might or might not happen. Wherever you put your faith is what you experience. It doesn't mean the other reality is not occurring. I know for a fact that my mother went to that dinner and she went to visit her friend.

I'm reminded of the following:

"All you have ever longed, prayed, and hoped for exists. So mighty is good. You are laying up treasure where there is no corruption, and all your good is your real wealth." Christ in You
Our senses would deceive us that what you can't discern with the senses doesn't exist. The moment one has an intention it exists. Why would your I Am Presence deny you your good unless you believe otherwise. No matter what the senses are saying one must be disciplined and know that our good exists now. They're stocked outside your front door. This is seeing no evil with the eyes of faith.

Seeing no evil is like the stories of Jesus' many miracles in the bible. For instance, when Jesus commanded the man with palsy to get up and walk, the man believed he was already healed and he got up and walked. What if the man had said, "Are you sure I'm already healed. Isn't it supposed to take time? How do you expect me to walk when my legs still feel so weak?" What do you think would have happened? He would remain a cripple for the rest of his life. Faith is seeing what already exists as perfection. Or as St Paul puts it:

"Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." (Hebrews 11:1)
To see no evil therefore is to persistently see beyond appearances knowing that everything is already perfect and complete, no matter what the senses suggest.

If something seems to be taking a while to materialise does this mean it's because of one's lack of faith. It could be the case. The main thing is to continue to see that it is already present. This takes discipline.

To see no evil is to not judge according to appearances be they race, culture, gender, sexuality, nationality etc. See everyone as the unconditioned, infinite Spirit.

To speak no evil is to speak words of faith no matter what. You speak the word of health "I am radiant health" even if your senses tell you you are in pain. You speak words of abundance even when your purse looks empty.

To hear no evil is to listen to or study words of truth that reminds you of your nature as infinite Love. You refuse to acknowledge the world's beliefs of fear and lack. This also applies to one's inner dialogues. You think only thoughts of love. If you're going to use your imagination, imagine only experiences of love and joy and peace and truth for yourself and others. Ultimately, to hear no evil is rejecting all beliefs and going to the stillness within that is infinite wisdom.

To feel no evil is to refuse to accept any sensation or feeling that try to identify you as "only human." If your body feels like it is in pain, affirm that you are Spirit and Spirit has no physical sensations. Spirit is stillness and this will manifest in your body. Emotions are another way the ego tricks us into identifying ourselves as human. Know that you are Spirit and Spirit judges no experiences as good or bad. Judgements create attachments to experiences which give rise to different emotions. Spirit is blissful no matter what.

Our real Self sees no evil, hears no evil or speaks no evil because She has no limits. She is infinite love, peace, joy, truth, abundance and all good.

I see no evil, hear no evil and speak no evil,
Enocia

The God of Too Much and No Rules

"Love knoweth no laws."
Sir John Lyly, English writer
"Where love reigns the impossible may be attained."
Indian proverb
"Where love is concerned, too much is not even enough!"
P.A.C de Beaumarchais, French playwright
"There is only one kind of love, but there are a thousand different versions."
La Rochefoucauld, French moralist
We are supposed to ask for what we wish to experience, right? It is also considered bad manners to barge in without permission. I’m wondering whether asking is a rule we have made up as humans.

The way I see it, Love is all around us. You can see it as the air we breathe or life force. Does anyone need to ask for oxygen? You just take what you need, right? If Love is all around then it happens whether one asks or not. Love is being expressed as us all the time. The infinite intelligence is always working with or without our help. It grows our nails, hair and keeps our bodies in working order. When one makes up rules about the how, then one is limiting not only Infinite Intelligence but one's true Self.

Yesterday, I went on a long bus ride. On the way home while waiting for the first bus, I spoke to a lady at the stop, mainly about the bus timetable. When the bus arrived, my attention was drawn to two dogs who trotted ahead of me and sat on the back seat where I intended to sit. Their guardian sat beside me. As we drove along he pointed out historical places of interest in the local area that I wasn’t aware of. I had lived in this area before but not long enough to explore it fully and here I was being given a guided tour. It was a very opulent neighbour with many town houses exceeding £1 million. The man also shared his vision of a world where natural resources are shared. While I listened to him, I patted one dog on her head. She came and sat on my knee. She nuzzled and tickled my ear while I stroked and kissed her. What an affectionate dog she was. I spoke with the man for about 15 minutes and then he and his dogs got off.

A few weeks back on another bus journey, I sat beside an elderly gentleman who was reading his newspaper. I noticed there was a piece about Doctor Who, the great British sci-fi which I watched when I was younger. The BBC was showing a new version of Doctor Who. The man gave me the history of Doctor Who in the early sixties, way before my time. He shared with me what was going on in the media at the time, at least his perception of it. He lamented how much society has changed and people's lack of respect for one another. It made my bus journey an interesting one for which I was very grateful.

Back to yesterday's journey. After I'd travelled for about one and a half hours, I still had to catch another bus at another station. Who should I see but the same woman I met earlier at the first bus stop! Our paths had diverged for a while and here we were waiting for the same bus going to the same destination. She said she was here on holidays from Australia. We talked about the places she'd been to see in London, buses and the weather in Australia. When our bus arrived she chose to sit downstairs while I wanted to sit upstairs. We exchanged best wishes, again.

Later on the "bendy" bus, which looks like a tram, the driver went speeding down a road filled with speed humps or "sleeping policemen" as we affectionately call them in the UK. It felt like I was on a rollercoaster ride. Whoo hoo! What a fun journey!

God is Love. This God is a God of too much. Look at how Infinite Intelligence is manifested in nature. An apple tree doesn't just produce a few fruits. It produces apples in superabundance and more seeds to grow thousands more apples. That's the way God works.

Does this mean one shouldn't ask God to meet our needs? This is how I see it. Imagine you are off to the supermarket to buy a loaf of bread. You are overwhelmed by so many brands. Asking is choosing the type of bread you would like to experience. However, when one realises he has the Christ Mind that is unlimited, one's experiences are unlimited love in infinite manifestation, whether you ask or not. In other words, Divine Love would like to treat us if we'd let Her.

I've noticed that as you radiate more and more of God's love, people treat you according to their idea of love. Earlier this morning, I went to buy my mother's groceries. I was carrying two heavy bags of shopping and waiting at the bus stop. A man smiled at me and I smiled back. He approached me and asked me where I was from; if I was married; where I lived, etc. My bus arrived. He was getting the same bus. He asked whether he could sit beside me and I said yes. He grabbed my hand and kissed it. He told me how much he liked me and wanted to have sex with me. Huh! I was thinking, do I look like someone who is in the mood for sex? He kept stroking my hand. To distract him I asked him what his name was. He said he couldn't understand me as his English wasn't very good. He's from Turkey. Yeah right, you can't speak good English but you know how to say "I want to have sex with you." Boy was I glad when I arrived at my stop.

There are so many ways to express love? Animals are very affectionate; people want to share their stories, food, ideas or whatever or want to have sex with you. And it all happens whether you ask for the experience or not.

Love has no limits and no laws.
Love is infinite.
Love is my true nature.

I now end with excerpts from Jesus' teachings why asking is not always necessary.

Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?
And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:
And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?
Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
(For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. (Matthew 6: 25-34)

Enocia

The Art of Unsubscribing

The other day someone asked me to take his name off my mailing list. In other words, he wanted to unsubscribe. I immediately complied.

I pondered over what it means to unsubscribe. Say, you no longer want to receive an email from someone, you could block their email. But that doesn't stop you from receiving the sender's "vibes." I pick up on people's emails telepathically all the time. But to unsubscribe is to take a stand and declare, "I no longer buy into this belief." I believe unsubscribing is definitely a good thing. It is what the spiritual path has been about for me.

Unsubsribing from people's email lists is the least of one's problems. At an unconscious level, one is constantly being inundated with all sorts of beliefs. Have you ever felt a sudden fear and not understood why? You might be picking up on the collective fear of humanity; or it could be a disaster in the news which you're picking up on, even if you haven't watched the news or read any newspapers. Why is it that you could go to bed in perfect health and wake up with your nose all bunged up? You've picked up on the belief about influenza which can be contagious. We are influencing one another all the time through our beliefs.

I recently read Stuart Wilde's Infinite Self: 33 Steps to Reclaiming Your Inner Power. He describes a time when he was in shorts in a climate that was very cold. He was practising a meditation technique where he felt heat all over. He met someone on his walk and the other asked him why he wasn't cold dressed like that. Stuart said he immediately lost the heat and he was freezing. That's what happens when well-meaning people project their concerns on to other people.

For me, spirituality is the practice of being the real Me and unsubscribing from all beliefs. I even unsubscribe from stuff I write. Why? Because I am always expressing relative truth. Absolute truth is too vast for it to be communicated in language. To get access to this Truth one has to go beyond all concepts including words, emotions and thoughts to the inner silence. Imagine if I were to post or email a story with a blank page. I bet I'll receive emails in droves from people wishing to unsubscribe from my mailing list. There's bound to be the odd nutter who will try to analyse what the blank page means. (smile)

In the Silence all is known. But to express that knowing in the human sense I try to conceptualise it into words. During this process of translating the silence into words, much of the meaning is lost because I am only communicating in part what I already know. I guess this is what it means to be human, looking for answers that you already have.

I have found the spiritual path to be paradoxical. On the one hand I am guided to study a particular teaching for a while. Then the same Voice tells me to abandon it. The human personality is always looking for security and when she finds something she will attach herself to it, but I find the real Self to be very ruthless. She only cares about freedom and is always pushing me to let go of ideas and beliefs. To have all, I must unsubscribe from everything.

I believe unsubscribing is very important if one is to be truly free. When one unsubscribes from a belief one is able to be the formless Self which embraces all. In the formless Self we are all one in truth. This oneness is Love.

The first thing you notice when you're practising unsubscribing is you stop feeling fearful. You are always peaceful no matter what which is a sure sign that you've unsubscribed from collective beliefs. As Rudyard Kipling puts it in his poem, "If".

"If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you
But make allowance for their doubting too,
[...]Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And--which is more--you'll be a Man, my son!" If, Rudyard Kipling
Next, you find you start thinking new thoughts. When you share those ideas with others some people might describe your ideas as original, ingenuous even. This is because you are speaking as your real Self. But you don't get excited about these ideas because you know that you can only express relative truth as a human. You discourage all attempts to make your ideas into a new teaching. The last thing humanity needs is another doctrine or following. You unsubscribe from your ideas and you run for dear life and hide behind your computer screen.

You might get to a point when you find it is no longer necessary to conceptualise ideas. You are content to understand all in the Silence. But then you hear a voice saying "What do you mean you understand? Can someone please explain what she's on about!" This is when it's time to take action, to shut that voice up once and all.

Altogether now....Unsubscribe!

Enocia

How to Avoid Typecasting

"Where there is no vision, the people perish." (Proverbs 29: 18)
"Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth." (Exodus 20: 4)
I have heard many actors complain of typecasting. An actor who has been playing a particular role for a long time tries other roles, but the audience refuse to accept the actor in another role. He ends up being typecast. This is why some actors are typecast as action-heroes or baddies.

In the same way people can typecast you as a particular role. You might have changed yet loved ones continue to perceive you in the old way. This happens in families where relatives refuse to see you as anything other than a sibling, offspring or parent. There are people who typecast you based on your previous behaviour. You might even typecast another because you have the same stuck image of the individual even though that picture is not who the other is.

You might typecast yourself into a particular role. You see yourself in a fixed way; you perceive your body in the same way, expecting it to appear and feel the same; you typecast yourself having the same beliefs and feel frustrated when you end up attracting the same experiences.

Typecasting is neither good nor bad but what you make it. I have heard of actors who have been typecast and benefited from that role. I recently read an article in Star Trek magazine about the actress Nichelle Nichols who played Lt Uhuru in Star Trek. She said after playing the role for a year, she was ready to do other things. She was considering leaving when she met the late Reverend Martin Luther King. He told her how proud he was to see her portraying the role of a positive black woman on television. Nichelle confessed she was considering moving on. The Reverend advised her to stay, that she was to do her part in changing public perception of black people in America. Nichelle stayed and has benefited from that role. She has starred in many Star Trek movies and she attends the many Star Trek conventions. Though she has played other roles apart from Star Trek, she said she was grateful to be able to do her part for blacks in America. She also believes her role paved the way for many more black actors within the media.

Another Star Trek veteran who has taken advantage of his role is Leonard Nimoy. I read his autobiography "I am Spock," recently. In this book he had a dialogue with the character he plays in Star Trek, Mr Spock. Very enjoyable and interesting; well I would say that wouldn't I, given that I am a typecast Trekkie. (grin) While Nimoy has played many roles he is reaping the benefits from his role as Mr Spock.

There are many typecasts that are not so beneficial. For instance there are many celebrities who have been typecast according to their previous roles. Some end up believing in the press and can't tell the difference between the fabricated image by the media and their personalities. An actor's fictional character could grow out of control such that the actor ends up behaving like his character in "real life."

How does one avoid being typecast? Let me digress for a moment.

Though I consider myself to be very visual, I have never been able to visualise forms. I have often admired people who can visualise colours, shapes and forms. My inner vision has always been blobs of light and a knowing that whatever I am thinking exists as formless light. It's the same way I see myself - light. If it wasn't for the physical senses, I would only think of myself as light. I guess this is what the practice of spirituality means for me - to transcend the senses and be the Light.

I have read many accounts of people who have had near-death experiences or out of body experiences and encountered the Light. I have many times in meditation. I believe the Light is one way we make sense of Infinite Spirit. People's perception of the Light varies from pure love, freedom, bliss, compassion, power or wisdom.

I see the Light as unconditioned i.e. it is indefinable. It is only the human mind that gives it a label. The Light is Infinite. It is vast beyond human comprehension. I believe the Light is the visible aspect of the uncaused, formless Source, who we all are.

To avoid being typecast or typecasting others, I see everyone as impersonal Light. It doesn't matter who they are, saint or sinner, they are Light. I don't even need to go around seeing everyone as Light. As long as I know myself as Light, I know this applies to everyone.

Yesterday while at a bookshop, I went to use the ladies' toilet. A man walked out as I was going in.

"It's very dirty in there," he said.
"Thank you," I said. "What happened to the gents? Was it closed?"
"No, but it wasn't clean either so I figure I'll try the ladies."

I smiled to myself. There's a guy who refuses to be typecast.

Every morning I buy my mother's newspaper from the local newsagent. There are two main shopkeepers. I have observed one as very grumpy. When you say hello he either ignores you or scowls and says nothing. My mother concurs. The other shopkeeper is the exact opposite: he is always warm and friendly. My mother and I discussed the "grumpy" newsagent this morning. I confess I don't care much for the man's personality, and I have no interest in loving him just to prove that I am love. I no longer buy into that brand of spirituality; been there, done that. But I love who he is as Spirit. The love I'm describing here is seeing him as impersonal Light. I went off to buy my mother's newspaper. The "grumpy" man was there this morning. I said hello. He mumbled "alright?" Wow! That's the first time he's ever been this nice to me. (grin)

To avoid typecasting yourself and others treat everyone the same. I see only the impersonal Light.

Light and Love,
Enocia

The Ingenuity of God

"Ever-new Joy is God. He is inexhaustible; as you continue your meditations during the years, He will beguile you with an infinite ingenuity. Devotees like yourself who have found the way to God never dream of exchanging Him for any other happiness; He is seductive beyond thought of competition.

"How quickly we weary of earthly pleasures! Desire for material things is endless; man is never satisfied completely, and pursues one goal after another. The 'something else' he seeks is the Lord, who alone can grant lasting joy." Autobiography of a Yogi
Yesterday I met a woman at a bus stop. We exchanged smiles. I said she had a wonderful smile. She said, "Well if you have it you've got to spend it." I thought that was lovely. I've never had the Light described in that way before.

Later on my way home on a bus I saw a young woman with her push chair. There was a passenger standing in the space reserved for buggies. He moved out of the way. Another woman's hands reached out to help the woman secure the buggy in the space. The baby in the buggy was fast asleep and oblivious to what was going on around him.

This reminded me of how I see the Infinite Spirit: the Divine Mother with infinite arms meeting everyone's needs. We are to trust in the Infinite the way a baby does; at peace knowing that he is being looked after.

A man got on the bus and sat beside me. He had two boxes of pizza. I decided to tease him. "Is one of them for me?" He smiled and explained that a friend who runs a pizza shop gave him the pizzas. He asked me whether I cooked. I said occasionally. I had already decided I didn't fancy a meal that evening, maybe toast or a bowl of cereal. The man offered me one box of pizza. "Take it," he said. "One box is enough for me." He insisted and I graciously accepted.

When I went home, my mother and I shared God's pizza.

Another day of the ingenuity of God. I wonder what God has in store for all of us today?

Taking Nothing For Granted

"With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible." (Matthew 19: 26)
Yesterday, I received an email from a lovely friend thanking me for the journals. He also talked about how doors are opening signifying that we are always being helped, though our senses would have us believe otherwise. I pondered over that metaphor. On my way home on the bus I sat near the emergency exit. The door suddenly flew open and then shut. Wow, that's cool! The door opened all by itself! The alarm went off and the bus driver stopped the bus so he could investigate. I told him the door had opened all by itself. He looked annoyed and said "No, the door didn't open by itself, it was kids." I didn't care how it happened I just know that the door was reflecting my thoughts.

Just because I travel by bus doesn't mean I believe London Transport is my source of travel. I know all my needs are met by Source/Spirit. They may come through people but I know all human methods are Spirit in action. Indeed, my visible human body is quickened each day by Spirit to express the joy of life. I never take anything for granted.

A while back, I was sitting in a bookshop munching away at some crisps. A toddler made a bee line for me. He had the widest grin. He looked at the crisp I had in my hand. He wanted one so I gave him a big crisp and he toddled off somewhere. After a few minutes he was back. I gave him another one. His father smiled apologetically at me. I told him I didn't mind sharing my crisps. This is what I love about babies. They don't care how their Good comes to them, they simply trust in the Universe.

Reminds me of a time I was sitting on a park bench enjoying the scenery. A woman and her dog were sitting beside me. We discussed the dog's penchant for ice cream. On my left another woman sat down. She opened a packet of cookies. She thought the dog was cute and offered the dog one which he wolfed down. She must have thought I was also cute because she offered me some cookies as well which I gratefully accepted and wolfed down.

It's such a shame children (and animals) are conditioned to expect their supplies only from people they know. As you grow older, you get so used to this way of thinking that you only expect love from and extend love to friends and family, and don't give a toss about others. As an adult, you believe your supply comes from your employer or employment and if you lose that employment, you are basically stuffed.

Another way we limit ourselves as humans is how we identify ourselves. You might see yourself as a mother, father, son, daughter, brother, sister, cousin, aunt, uncle, niece, nephew, grandparent, male, female, husband, wife, lover, friend, qualification, occupation, class, nationality, race, culture, philosophy, politics, religion, sexuality, body, appearance, disability, diet, emotions, thoughts, or human. How you live is influenced by how you identify yourself. You then expect your supplies to come through a particular channel. If you don't have a certain skill, you believe a particular goal is unachievable.

I once watched a famous singer/actress I very much admire being interviewed on television. She said the reason why she could no longer sing was because of an operation she'd had on her throat. If only she realised that the Spirit of music is independent of human ability; that you can simply channel the music in energetic form and you will be able to sing whether you are trained in the human sense or not.

I don't look to the human for my supplies, I look to God first because I know everything exists as energy. I then expect my supply to come to me any way it does. Let's say I am lost. I either pray or feel the solution coming down as energy. I then ask the first person I come across for directions because I know s/he has appeared in answer to my intention.

When I put my faith in the human way, supply is limited and always based on the human belief of what is possible. But with Source, supply is unlimited.

I also take nothing for granted knowing that all is Source in manifestation.

Love and Light,
Enocia

Who are the Lightworkers?

"Ye are the light of the world." (Matthew 5: 14)
"He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father." (John 14: 12)
It has become very popular within the new age community to talk about Lightworkers. Apparently, many Lightworkers have come from various parts of the universe to help heal the earth and its inhabitants, act as spiritual guides and raise the vibration of earth. Is there such a thing as a Lightworker?

I believe there are Lightworkers on earth right now. As a matter of fact, there have always been Lightworkers on earth. We are all Lightworkers for we are of the Light, aren’t we? Why should some people be Lightworkers and others not? The Source is no respecter of persons.

But this can’t be true, I hear you say. What about those kids being born now, the "Indigo" children with special gifts? What about kids who have special gifts but have been misunderstood by society and labelled as having attention deficit disorders? Surely, there are special kids here to bring more light into the world? I say it’s a fabrication, a myth that has nothing to do with Reality. No one is more special than another.

In my view, the reason why we’ve become more open to these "special" kids is because there are simply more of us who are open and aware of who we are. We are awakening to the truth that kids generally remember who they are. I have come across many babies who know who they are. I have even had telepathic conversations with some of them who have “recognised” me because they haven’t been fully plugged into the system as yet. These "special" kids still hold on to their truth. And if you are "awake" to your true nature, you recognise another who is "awake"; baby or adult.

I remember my sister-in-law used to tell me how compassionate my nephew was when he was younger. He would give his pocket money away to homeless people. He seemed very much interested in the welfare of others. I could easily have regarded him as "special" but I believe my nephew remembered his truth until the programmes kicked in. He is being raised as a Catholic and he's now a chorister. He's now eleven years old. I observe that he's already been indoctrinated into the beliefs of society, his peers and his parents. I don’t see much of him and I prefer to stay very much in the background. But I know all is unfolding perfectly and he will resume his "journey" in due course.

As a child, my mother was very clairvoyant. She said her parents were so scared she would one day "see" something that would harm her, they arranged for her sight to be "removed." I believe my mother is still very intuitive and it’s a matter of trusting in herself, but she is of the belief that she no longer has it; and what you believe to be true, you experience as your truth. If my mother had been born to parents of this age who are very much open, they would have encouraged her to develop that skill.

I have to confess that the spiritual path takes discipline and total surrender to the Light but it doesn’t mean it is only for the minority. I believe if we continue to regard some people as "special" the likelihood is we will, if we haven't already, create a two-tier system of Lightworkers versus ignorant earthlings. Earthlings are going to believe they cannot achieve what the Lightworkers are achieving. Earthlings are either going to be in awe of or afraid of Lightworkers.

I am a Lightworker who is aware that I am Light.

I am a Lightworker who knows Light is the substance of all creation.

I am a Lightworker who knows Light is how the formless Spirit clothes Him-Herself but there is a whole lot more of the Infinite Spirit.

I am a Lightworker who knows every single entity in the universe is also a Lightworker no matter what type of body s/he is clothed.

Who are the Lightworkers? We all are!

Light and Love,
Enocia

Are You Doing It For Yourself?

"Now there was a time when we used to say
That behind every great man
There had to be a great woman
Oh, in these times of change
You know that it's no longer true
So we're coming out of the kitchen
'cause there's something we forgot to say to you

It's that sisters are doin' it for themselves
Standing on their own two feet, and ringing on their own bells
We said sisters are doing it for themselves" Aretha Franklin and Eurythmics
Is it possible to do it all by yourself? That rather depends on whether we are speaking from the human or spiritual perspective.

The Human Perspective

There's a myth one can buy into that you are doing it all by yourself. This myth has given rise to another myth of the modern "superwoman." As women we believe we are inherently able to think and do many things at once which derives from the belief that you are doing everything by yourself, "standing on your own two feet" etc. You feel you are on your own and not being helped, even though in reality you are, as we are all interconnected. Everyone is playing his or her part.

Let's take the myth of the "superwoman" able to juggle her career, family and social life. If her life is successful she is obviously being helped. Her partner and kids are obviously co-operating, each doing their part to bring harmony into the family life; her colleagues are obviously helping her at work; and her friends and society are obviously co-operating with her. But the myth would have you believe that she is doing it all by herself.

The danger is if you buy into that myth of doing it yourself then you will end up manifesting it in this reality. It will seem as if everyone is against you. You will even feel tired, irritable and unhappy. You will experience your world as conflicting parts where people you attract have the view of "Nothing is for free, everything has to be earned, even love." With this reality people are fearful of losing what they believe they've achieved on their own and resentful of others who they perceive as trying to deprive them of what they've worked so hard to achieve. Your body will even appear to be against you; the different parts/organs will appear to be in constant battle resulting in disease. And so it continues. What I'm describing is the typical example of a life lived on the ego-consciousness, one dominated by the five senses which convinces you that you are doing things by yourself. There is little or no harmony in this reality.

The truth is you are NEVER doing it by yourself. We are all being helped. No matter what you are doing, there is always someone who has helped in the process. As I write this I am aware of the help I'm receiving from the Internet, the computer resource centre, the ideas I'm writing, my body, the consciousness that is in all that makes this happens. So I am being helped and I am very grateful.

The Spiritual Perspective

You are someone who has realised that there is only One Consciousness unfolding in ALL. You have merged your consciousness with the one "I" and know that you are the one perfect "I." When you are coming from that level of Perfection your thoughts of Truth will instantly find channels to make them appear as forms, or they will manifest instantly. You are also aware, however, that you create nothing as all of creation already exists as formless. Your intention is simply unfolding thoughts into form. You are still being helped by Consciousness to make this happen.

Whichever way you look at it, one is always being helped. You are never doing anything by yourself.

Doesn't stop me loving that song though. Come on, let's have a sing-song.

"We said sisters are doin' it for themselves (oh yes we are!)
Standing on their own two feet, and ringing on their own bells.
Sisters are doin' it for themselves" Aretha Franklin and Eurythmics

The Kingdom is Yours For Free

"Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom." (Luke 12: 32)
"We shall live henceforth without the strain of personal effort, without anxious forethought, knowing that our Father, the Overself, will make all the necessary effort and forethought on our behalf, itself working either through us or through others." ("The Quest of the Overself" by Paul Brunton, p.304)
I believe we can have all our needs met for free which include perfect health, love, peace, joy, wisdom, fulfilment, and all good that makes one's life worthwhile. While the Source did not create a barter system of exchange, Source is very much aware of the human way and can work around it to give one the Kingdom for free. To make this into a reality we must realise that we are all being helped every step of the way, whether one is aware of this or not.

How do I know all our needs can be met for free? I know because these ideas I'm spouting off are free. I didn't pay for them. I simply pondered and let the ideas flow through which I find useful and I'm including them here because others might find them useful too. Ask any artist or writer and they will confirm that they never have to pay for ideas, they are constantly pouring through them. Energy is also for free. Alas, people have come up with the idea that energy is also a system of exchange, thus perpetuating a reality based on lack where everything has to be bought or that you have to earn a living.

I'm not saying that one doesn't need to work, but there's a whole lot of difference between working and earning a living. Working is what gives one joy and what makes one's life meaningful; it is the expression of one's passion for life whether one is paid or not. Earning a living is based on the belief that it is the only way one can have one’s needs met, which is simply not true.

I maintain that one can enjoy all good for free as the very substance of the universe is free. You only need to ask, believing it already exists and watch it come to pass. Universal Intelligence is like those automatic doors that sense when someone is about to enter and open automatically. Universal Intelligence senses what your needs are and goes about making this happen in three ways: it might seem to come through the individual; through others; or mysteriously appear.

What do I mean by "it might seem to come through the individual?" Let's say you fancy cooking yourself a lovely meal. You buy the ingredients and prepare the meal. Once you've finished you feel proud that you've cooked it all by yourself. From the bigger picture perspective where there is only the one "I" of course You did and a fabulous job you did too. But at the human level, I say you are deluded. You had a lot of help preparing that meal. How? If it was a vegetarian meal you prepared, did you grow the vegetables? Did you stack the vegetables on the supermarket shelf? What about the other cooking ingredients, did you prepare the spices you used? Did you originate the idea for the recipe you used? Thus, you the individual is only an instrumental through which ideas were channelled through to prepare the meal.

The next way Universal Intelligence meets our needs is through others. We are all agents for the Intelligence to work through. The omnipresent Intelligence goes about influencing situations and people to help bring your desire into manifestation. How this happens is a mystery on the human level and there is no use speculating. All you can do is expect the unexpected.

Yesterday evening I witnessed the Universal Intelligence at work. A man on the bus asked another passenger how long it would take to get to his destination, as he was worried he was going to arrive late. The other passenger assured him he would make it. I also knew he would make it as I was going to the same place. The man was also very new to London and was anxious about finding another job. The passenger he was speaking to got off the bus and was replaced by a female passenger. The man started a conversation with her. She was very sympathetic with the man's situation as she's only been living in the UK for two months and has already got a job. She advised him about how to go about getting his national insurance number. She even wrote down the address of an agency where the man could find work in a restaurants as soon as possible. When she got off at her stop I knew it was my turn. Sure enough the man turned round and asked me how much further to his stop. I told him. When we arrived at the bus stop, I directed him to the station.

In this example Universal Intelligence used different instruments to have the man's needs met according to his beliefs. They were all for free. What I found interesting was the instruments were more than happy to share their information. I wonder if this is why people say "It's my pleasure," after they've helped someone? Perhaps it's because they don't mind doing what they love to help another person feel loved. Just this morning I ran an errand for my mother. It was a long bus journey which gave me an opportunity to ponder on these ideas I'm now writing. When I returned she said she felt guilty for taking up my time. I said it was my pleasure. Why would I mind when I love travelling by bus?

The third way Universal Intelligence meets one's needs is when the Intelligence manifests the answer instantly. No instrument is required just a belief that all things are possible. Only last week, I booked a computer at the local library for an hour. At the end of the session I thought of extending it for another hour. There is usually a reminder on screen telling you when you have five minutes remaining which prompts you to ask for more time if you need it, but it didn't appear. It then occurred to me that my time had been extended automatically by Universal Intelligence. This has happened several times and it's becoming a habit. How this works, I haven't got a clue.

A while back when I was helping a friend move a table in his house, there wasn't enough space to move it through the door. After a few attempts I sent out a "help" in thought. We witnessed the wall melt away which created enough space for the table to go through.

I believe in order that for this third way to become habitual it's about getting used to depending on the Source Energy directly. Maybe you start off by depending on Source for healing. You don't look outside for healing nor do you get tempted to give yourself self-healing, you simply know you are already perfect and observe perfect health manifested. And perhaps with more practice you start to trust in this method and expect it to happen automatically, though you never know how or when it works. You only know that it is the Intelligence doing the work.

This paradigm where all our needs are free is like working for a particular employer. This is an equal opportunity employer where everyone is both director and equal share-holder; thus, each employee is Self-employed. As you take on more responsibilities, i.e. trust in the power of Source, you get to express that reality. Naturally, it looks good for the company when you express greater parts of Self. This company really knows how to look after its employees which attracts lots of prospective employees. There are zillions of vacancies available and the company accepts anyone that is interested. All you have to do is say you are available, willing and agree with the company's mission.

The company's mission is to promote the truth that infinite Love is the only power and all there is. In this company everyone is doing what s/he loves on the one hand, while promoting the company's mission. Your job is dual: be the company's representative while playing your part in the human drama. Your job is effectively your life. My part is living a life that demonstrates Love as the only power and sharing my truth which others might find helpful.

This company is your Source and supply and you NEVER look to the human realm (other employment). You then trust in Source to meet your needs in the material form however it comes, but for free. If Source manifests the material in a form that needs to be bought in the human realm, the money will come for free.

Alas, not many people are willing to take up employment in this company. To do so one has to agree with the company's mission and trusting that it can meet your needs. As far as I am aware, the company never gives up on anyone and will always accept former employees and new employees.

The Kingdom is ours for free. We just need to trust in Source. Trusting in Source is trusting in ourselves.

What is Compassion?

In my view, compassion is a human construct. Why? Because it is not fixed; different people have their own ideas of compassion. There are those who feel compassion for others by being called to love or heal others who are suffering as illustrated in the story of the Good Samaritan in Luke 10: 25-37. It could be feeling compassion for someone who is carrying a bag of shopping and offering to carry them. There is the compassion of a Boddhicitta, according to Buddhist teachings, who will delay His ascension until everyone has been enlightened. While people have their own versions of compassion one should never impose one's idea of compassion on another, nor should any be made to feel guilty just because they don't practise the same compassion. Compassion is both about how choice and how one is inspired to act at the time.

The following, in my view, is a demonstration of compassion.

I was sitting on top of a double-decker bus at the time. Ahead of us was a learner driver having a driving lesson, who was driving painfully slow. Behind this learner was an experienced driver trying to overtake. The driver waited until the other side of the road was clear then he overtook the learner driver and sped off.

I believe the experienced driver was showing compassion. He could have beeped impatiently at the learner driver but he didn't. The experienced driver must have remembered what it felt like as a learner; one is nervous about being on the roads and it seems like you'll never get the hang of driving. And yet the experienced driver couldn't very well stay behind the learner forever. He had to overtake him. He might overtake the learner and wish him every success in passing his driving test. One day the learner will be an experienced driver when he will show consideration to another learner driver.

This is my idea of compassion.

Expect Nothing But the Best

From my experiences, I have observed two constants about reality. First, I exist. Second, the universe is forever supporting EVERYONE in their choices, beliefs or expectations.

I know I exist as consciousness which I call Love and my real Self; and this Self knows nothing of human discords. I love the way this Self is described thus:

"I will share with you what the Ascended Masters have said about it but suffice it to say that in the unascended lifestream the Mighty I AM Presence is blissfully unaware of what is going on here of discord. I can recall, and those of you who have had children will also recall, times in your own life maybe when you were very burdened by what was going on in your experience and your little two-year old toddler with the golden curls would come into the room bubbling, happy as could be, and in that sense blissfully unaware of the world in which you lived, totally free of whatever the burdens and the consciousness of your life might be. And thank goodness there really wasn’t any way for that little two-year old to ever really appreciate the crisis that you were going through. That is the closest approximation I can give you of the consciousness of the God Self that is too pure to behold inequity.Co-Creating With God
Does this mean anything that is unlike the God Self is not experienced? It would seem that there is an in-built mechanism that rejects anything that is not in harmony with Its frequency. For instance, when I have had an experience that was not in harmony with the Love that I am, I either dismissed it as nothing or I laughed at it, which reduced it to nothing.

But why have experiences of disharmony at all? Don't we get outraged when we hear of babies being abused or living in "unsafe" environments? How could anyone consider harming an innocent child? Do we not do all we can to have the baby removed from that situation and placed in a loving environment? Do we not do the same to protect our animals? Well, I am innocent too. Why should I expect to be around situations that are not in line with who I am? Why would the pure I Am Presence expect me in situations that are unlike Itself? Unless it is because of my beliefs. Bear in mind that the universe supports everyone in their choices, beliefs or expectations.

I believe there is a dominant paradigm within the spiritual community which I call the "crucifixion complex." It is a belief that many on the spiritual "path" have bought into. This is when you go round expecting to have experiences that will teach you about love, or that will enable you to demonstrate love. So you have someone behaving badly, as we all agree on that term, and you think "How wonderful! This is a perfect opportunity for me to be myself and demonstrate that I am Love. I can prove to myself that I don't judge anyone as people are doing the best they can. I am being given the opportunity to practise forgiveness."

Incidentally, in today's Metro Newspaper (14 March) a survey was carried out in a city called Luton in Bedfordshire, UK, to find the most popular quote/saying. The one that came on top was "All you need is love," from the Beatles song. That just shows how programmed we are to need love rather than be love. No doubt if you need love, the universe will find someone to love you. At least number 2 was "To thine own self be true."

Society reveres someone who has experienced dire situations and come out victorious because, as majority perceive the experience, s/he was able to find the inner strength to conquer that situation. It's all very well, but does one have to go through challenges to demonstrate who you are? I guess it's a matter of one's expectations.

So many have bought into the idea that you have to either suffer so you realise who you truly are; or you have to attract experiences that will enable you to express who you are. I don't see this as good or bad, it's up to the individual. It is up to me to choose what I wish to experience. I've definitely been there, done that, bought the t-shirt. It's time for a change of scenery.

Another belief within the spiritual community is that earth is a place that needs lots of light and light workers are here to bring light through healing and teaching. From my experience I have witnessed that more and more healing techniques are being dreamed up. Doesn't it make sense that more and more people are going to require healing? Even good old Mother-Earth is bound to throw the occasional tantrum so we would have the opportunity to practise our wonderful healing techniques on Her. The universe supports our beliefs, right?

This is the way I see life on earth. Let's take water as an example. The formless Spirit exists as various forms of water. There is water as idea; water as energy; water as solid (ice); water as liquid (fluid); water as gas (hydrogen and oxygen). In the same way, Spirit takes different forms or planes of reality; thus, earth is concretised Spirit. Earth is perfect just like ice is perfect. Earth is simply a place where once can experience all good ideas as forms. How you do this is based on choice.

Since the universe is supporting everyone in every way, why not choose a different expectation? You can choose to go with the dominant view of reality that expects challenges to express love; or you can expect experiences that are all good, as you perceive good, right Now.

I now choose right here on earth only effortless experiences and relationships that are loving, harmonious, peaceful, truthful, unlimited, beautiful and abundant.

There is nothing to prove. I expect nothing but the best.

I'm Only Playing With My Food!

On the bus yesterday I spoke to a young Australian man who was complaining about the weather. He said he wasn't enjoying it - he's been in the UK for three months. He'd exchanged the heat of Canberra for the wonderful British winter. He handed me and another passenger a free day-pass to the gym where he works so we could have free health checks. I politely accepted. The other passenger said he needed to work on his upper body strength. The Aussie guy said he was working on his stomach paunch, which was the result of kegs of beer. I teased him about how in Australia they have drive-in off-licences. I remember being both shocked and amused to discover that one could buy alcohol while still in one's car. This doesn't exist in the UK.

Later on, I pondered over what the Australian man had said about his tummy. He believed beer he consumed in the past has accumulated over time to form excess fat around his midriff. It's the same reason why people go on diets because they believe what you eat accumulates to form fatty tissues around you. If you don't put on weight you are considered to have a high metabolism which burns off the fat.

Conventional science would have us believe that most of our body is empty space. Of course what is empty needs to be filled which takes time. As the body continuously recycles what we eat and rejects what is not needed, the empty space needs to be filled otherwise we end up suffering from a lack in a particular nutrient.

But what about another perspective? I know there is no space, that all apparent space is filled with universal energy. Since there is nothing but energy where is the space for food? This suggests that whether we eat or don't eat, we are always the same. In other words, you can't take away from or add anything to infinity.

To eat is to pretend universal energy doesn't exist.

To eat is to pretend you are lacking in something.

To eat is to pretend you have lots of space which needs filling.

To eat is to pretend that it takes time for the space to be filled and that there are always consequences; either you end up getting fat, or your body creates more empty space so you end up losing weight.

We have kept this illusion going on because many people benefit. This illusion creates jobs for people in the food industry including supermarkets and farmers, medicine, gym instructors, nutritionists, restaurants etc. So we have to keep this illusion going that what you eat or drink has consequences in time. When you know there is no space to fill, there is no time arising out of this.

Does this mean one who is aware that there is no space can't play the game? Yes one can choose to eat with the awareness that they are only playing and that the food does nothing and is nothing. At least I choose to play that game.

Later in the evening on another bus, five Polish guys got on. They sat next to me. Two of them started drinking vodkas. One guy told me the Polish equivalent for "cheers" but I forget now what it is. They even asked me to join them at the local pub but I politely declined. Maybe, I should have given one of the guys the free day gym pass I was given earlier. (Smile)

Dissolving All Into the Light

I once watched an episode of Star Trek The Next Generation when the crew were on a planet and they ended up being chased by a light entity. The entity consumed everything in sight and I mean EVERYTHING. Some of the crew were lost. The episode was about how they managed to survive and defeat this light entity. I actually quite like that concept of Light consuming all into itself.

I have been practising a daily ritual of dissolving everything into the Light. It's the last thing I do before going to sleep and the first thing I do when I wake up in the morning. The purpose being that the formless Light/Source transmutes all experiences into Itself, that any energies that were inadvertently misused would be dissolved, and that the original intention remains true to the Light from which the experiences originate.

In my mind's eye I see the brightest Light and I raise all words, thoughts and deeds I've held to be true, no matter how true they seem to be at the time, into the Light; I raise all encounters and relationships I have had during the day into the Light; I raise all of my experiences into the Light. I raise anything I have written that day, all ideas and thought-forms into the Light.

I surrender all past experiences and relationships into the Light

I surrender my perception of earth into the Light.

I surrender what my idea of life is into the Light.

I surrender my notion of God/Love/Spirit into the Light.

I surrender who I think I am into the Light.

I end up with nothing but the formless Light.

I see the formless Light transmuting all my experiences into Itself and starting with a clean slate each day.

I trust in the infinite Light to unfold experiences that are like Itself.

I now surrender this piece into the Light.

The Game of Asking and Receiving

I'm waiting for a bus at the station. There are four double-decker buses already parked in the tiny space. A single-decker bus, the one I'm waiting for, pulls in. I am wondering how the driver is going to manoeuvre itself around the others but he does a fine job. I turn to the man beside me.

"Hey, do you know what the noun is for a collection of buses? There is a word for everything so there's got to be one."
"I don't know, mate," he says.

I let it slide. It's not important.

It's the next day and I'm back at the same station. I hear a passenger complaining that there are too many buses for the tiny space. "There is a whole convoy here!"

Aha, "convoy" sounds like the noun I was looking for.

I got to thinking, when you release a thought does the thought follow you around until it attracts an appropriate response? Or does it hang around where you had the thought?

On second thought, the question and the answer always arise as one. Asking is simply a game one plays; one pretends that one does not know. Then someone comes along willing to play the game and away we go.

I have lots more questions I want answered. I guess I'm saying I'm looking for more people to play with.

First things first. I wonder what the proper noun is for a whole load of questions?

The Purpose of Truth

Studying truth principles is good for it is Truth Herself that started you on the search. But truth principles should never be reduced to an intellectual exercise whereby you can quote the scriptures but you still find yourself no better off or unable to demonstrate truth principles in your life. You can't be on the pursuit of truth on the one hand and still looking for answers in the human realm. As the Christ taught through Jesus:

"No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon." (Matthew 6: 24)
How can one get the benefit of truth teachings? By acceptance and surrender.

Imagine you are living in a reality where all is perfection, bliss, love and abundance. You have no knowledge of duality, fear, lack or evil. One day an explorer tells you there exists a reality of intense fear and lack. You listen in amazement as it doesn't seem possible. Just knowing that this reality exists is not going to let you have the experience. You are going to have to accept that that possibility exists. To accept a possibility is to be open to a new perspective. You imagine that possibility and you experience fleeting feelings and visions of what it is like living in that reality. You have entered the dream state. As you continue dreaming that possibility you end up living in that dream, for real, as you are in this dream reality called earth.

Truth is the reverse of the above analogy. Truth is a reminder of who you really are that the dream on earth is distracting you from. The more of truth you hear the more you accept it. As you accept the truth you begin to experience what it would be like living as Truth. Some of you may have visions, feelings or new ideas. You are effectively being Truth. Then you let Truth do the work of transformation. You witness Truth working Her magic all around you, transforming the dream into Reality.

One day you realise you are living in the consciousness of perfection, bliss, love and abundance that knows no duality, fear, lack or evil. One day another explorer tells you there exists a reality of intense fear and lack. You listen in amazement as it doesn't seem possible. You then have a choice whether to experience another dream or remain awake in eternal bliss.

Time, Space and Waiting

You have heard that time is an illusion, right? Have you ever wondered why there seems to be a delay for such and such to occur? It has to do with perception as human as opposed to one's true identity as the Infinite Spirit. By the way you don't stop being human when you move away from this earth plane. If space is very much real for you, you are still human. Thus, human in this context refers to a state of consciousness.

Humans love having space. Look around you, do you notice all that lovely space? You need space to live in; space between you and your neighbours; space between your car and other cars; space between you when you walk; space to be. What is this space exactly? Is space real? Does space exist?

Space appears to be that which is empty. How can something be empty when the universe is filled to the brim with life? You may not be able to perceive what is in the space but that doesn't mean there's nothing there. Empty space is therefore an illusion. The illusion of space, as perceived by humans, has an important purpose on the one hand, but serves to perpetuate the illusion of emptiness on the other.

As an example, look at your human hand. Without space would you have fingers? It is the space that makes you appear to have five fingers on each hand. Here's another example: as you read these words look closer at your computer screen. Notice the colour of the words and the background. What if the words were the same colour as the background, would you be able to decipher what has been written?

Do you see that light is an essential ingredient to experience life? Light creates the illusion of space in order for objects and forms to appear as discrete entities. Light makes the One appear as the many.

Within the human consciousness, space gives you the impression that you have your own body which you can use to experience life. Through those experiences you formulate an identity about yourself. What if you were to treat the space you see around you like the background on a page or computer screen that makes words appear? What if you were to perceive space as a tool only to give you a semblance of individuality so life can be more meaningful, while knowing full well that there is only One appearing as the many? Does this change your perspective? Can you now see that to think of yourself as "only human" is doing yourself a disservice? You are not human, animals, birds, nature, stuff, sun, moon, stars, planets, universe, angels, thoughts, emotions, light you are ALL there is.

What you perceive as space is filled to capacity with life. Where there is no space, can there be time? You only believe it takes time for such and such to occur because you are accustomed to experiencing space and intervals. In actuality, life is in continuous motion: passive or active. Translated in human terms, if you are involved in an experience that is active, such as writing, it is a continuous movement. All your thoughts and actions are focused on writing. If you are involved in a passive activity such as meditation, it is also an ongoing movement. Life is an ongoing movement.

There is a saying: "nature abhors a vacuum." When there is no space or intervals, when you know that life is filled to capacity, can there be a vacuum? When life is an ongoing movement, is there a need to wait? Waiting is an illusion. Space is an illusion.

How do you live with the reality of no time, no space and no waiting?

Accept that your identity is the One appearing as the ALL.
Know that there is no space, as what appears as space is filled to capacity.
Realise life is in continuous motion and as there is continuous motion there are no gaps between one event and another, which can be measured as time; thus, no time.

Realisations are meaningless unless you put them into practice. How? By trusting in the process. For instance, someone recommends a wonder-pill. The only way to find out whether the pill works is to take the pill and let the pill do its work. If you are someone who believes in prayer, you pray, release the prayer and expect your answer to manifest. In the same way, the only way to find out whether these realisations are true is to let go and trust.

There is no space, no time, and waiting is an illusion. Test this out by knowing who you are, and trusting in the One.

With love,

Back to Basics - Experiencing Nothing

"There are no limitations where God is, no claiming of personalities. God is all...Everything that seemed peculiarly my own was simply swept away until I was as nothing, and longing only for God. The Angel spake again with great love and tenderness - "Thou shalt know thyself by this test: art thou content to be nothing, and know nothing?" With great faltering I answered "Yes." The reply came, "Know God, and thou shalt Be." Christ in You
"And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made." (Genesis 2: 2-3)
I see myself as an explorer on a mission similar to the crew of the Starship Enterprise. If you've ever watched any episode of Star Trek you will hear the following in the opening sequence:

"Space, the final frontier. These are the voyagers of the Starship Enterprise. It's continuing mission, to explore strange new worlds. To seek out new life and new civilization. To boldly go where no one has gone before."
Like the crew, I have been boldly exploring and seeking "out new life and new civilizations." I have asked questions which have been answered as experiences that I have documented on the Internet. Some of my experiences have been one-offs while others have extended into longer moments. From the feedback I have received from those who read my articles, the questions I have raised are shared by many. While insights received from past experiences may no longer be relevant to my current experience, others who are choosing to have longer moments of experiences find them useful.

What do I mean by "one-offs" and "longer moments of experiences?" The wonderful thing about life is that you can have millions of experiences or you can choose to have only a few. Time is irrelevant. An experience can last but for a second/moment or trillion seconds/moments. As humans, we tend to extend moments into interminably long moments, lasting for a whole lifetime.

Let's say I've never eaten peanuts. I could have some and be satisfied that I now have this experience in my memory forever. There is therefore no need to repeat the experience. Or I could choose to extend this experience for months or even years on end, as we measure time. See, it makes no difference how you choose to have an experience. I believe true freedom is either when one is consciously choosing to have an experience, even if it is repeated experiences of peanuts or peanut butter sandwiches; or freedom is about realising that one moment of experience is sufficient and you can move on to other experiences as you so choose. I believe people get caught in experiences or beliefs because they have forgotten their original intention to have that experience. No experience is ever thrust upon anyone. We always have a choice to experience or not to experience.

I have observed that human experiences unfold according to what one's interest in life is. One of my life's theme is healing. I obviously have a belief that people or places need to be healed. I have had a thing about healing as far as I can remember. It started off in believing I was born into my family to stop the cycle of abuse. Then it moved on to me needing to be healed which extended to healing others. I have experienced many different forms of healing and studied a few techniques. The danger is I could get stuck in this experience as the universe is continuously unfolding circumstances for me to experience healing as I have documented in many of my articles. Even when I'm not healing anyone, my body always seems to need healing.

A while back, I wrote an article called How We Can Be Each Other's Guides. The moment the thought went out the universe sent people my way to guide in various forms, whether it is giving them directions to a particular place or giving someone spiritual counsel. I soon had enough and wanted to have new experiences.

I also recently wrote an article called Homesickness when I was being drawn back into the Light. I resisted it but a day later I had the urge again when the inner Voice gave me a choice that I could either resist or surrender. I went into the Light. I experienced the Light as me. The insight I received from that experience was that there is no need to have a near death experience or die to experience the Light. One can live as the Light on Earth now, transforming all into Light. I lived this experience for a few days. I even noticed that I could be healed or give out healing by affirming that "I am Light." (See I told you healing was a major life theme). Of course when you go around thinking you are Light, life is bound to throw opportunities your way to be the Light. I have to make a decision: do I wish to experience myself as Light for a few moments or longer moments? Hmmm! Tricky, very tricky! (smile)

What I am saying is that it is perfectly OK to have experiences. I have had many which have lasted for a few moments or longer moments. An experience is the equivalent of stopping for a while from one's travels and enjoying the scenery. One can stop for a few moments or longer moments.

I have been pondering on the idea of going back to basics and being nothing.

"By Nothing I mean no thing, that which has no limits, cannot be labelled and is infinite. A thing in my reality is that which has forms and is limited." Experiencing Nothing
I believe that the ultimate way for me to experience life is to be nothing. For it is being nothing that one can truly know God who is beyond definitions, labels, concepts or forms. Thus, when I am being No-thing, there is nothing to heal. Knowing the Universe, It will unfold experiences where no healing is required.

What would my life be like when I see no-thing?

"I see no labels or identity, no limits nor judge anything as having form." Experiencing Nothing
What would my experiences be when I feel no-thing; hear no-thing; smell no-thing; or taste no-thing?

I am taking a rest now to enjoy the scenery of being nothing. It could be for a moment or infinite moments.

I am No-thing,
Enocia

Love Takes Many Forms

"I feel it in my fingers
I feel it in my toes
Love is all around me
And so the feeling grows
It’s written on the wind
It’s everywhere I go, oh yes it is" Wet, Wet, Wet
You know people get so attached to loving someone and expecting that love to be reciprocated by the other. It is the same with giving. We've been programmed that when we give we must expect it back from the other in kind. This is not how I see reality. You don't have to wait for a partner or friend(s) to experience giving and receiving love, there are zillions of opportunities to express love. After all, Love is all there is.

The simplest way to express love, I find, is a smile. What does it cost to smile at someone? It doesn't matter whether the other smiles back, it's the smiling that counts. I hear people talk about how unfriendly Londoners are and I think to myself, "That is so not true. The Londoners I meet have radiant smiles." A smile is love in action.

The other day I was waiting for a bus. A young lady was already there. She said she'd been waiting for ages for her bus which hadn't arrived. I beamed energy from my heart chakra at her. I also put out a call to the universe to send her bus at once. We got chatting. She said she had a young baby and she was a housewife. It turns out that over 10 years ago I lived in the adjacent street near where she's now living. Her bus arrived closely followed by another. Typical! You wait for ages and two come at once. (smile) We exchanged hugs and kisses. At that moment, we had both received love.

Another way love takes form is when love appears as the very thing needed. For instance, it's fun to wonder about stuff, let it go and watch as the answers come in marvellous ways. Yesterday evening on my ride home on the bus, I thought about a movie that's coming up on television that I would love to watch called Ground Hog Day. I couldn't remember the actor's name. A woman sat in front of me. She got on her mobile phone and the first thing she said was: "Dad, I watched that Bill Murray movie yesterday." Aha, that's the name of the actor, Bill Murray!

A few weeks ago I noticed a rally at Piccadilly Circus and they were playing the song We are Family by Sister Sledge. I wondered what the rally was about but I couldn't be bothered to find out so I headed off to the bookshop. I picked up a few books to browse. There were no seats available so I went to the other side of the floor where I found one. Soon a customer came over. She recognised a member of staff as her friend from college. She didn't realise her friend worked at that bookshop. They started discussing the rally I had been wondering about. One said it was a rally about the environment. Once they'd relayed that important information they moved elsewhere to continue their discussion. I thought the song at the rally and the way the answer came reflected the nature of reality; in truth, we are family. Love is oneness.

People can feel unloved or unappreciated when they continue to expect love in the traditional way from partners, families, colleagues and friends. Why limit yourself to only that way of expressing love? Why not look to the Universe? The Universe is Love in manifestation. Every moment is an opportunity to give and receive love.

Love is all around us.

I am Love,
Enocia
