What It Means to Live in a Spiritual Universe

I spent part of yesterday afternoon meditating in a park . I experienced all as Love and all as me.

Once you realise that there is only One Spirit/Love, your experience of the world changes. The best way to describe it is by a demonstration.

As I walked home there was a sudden gust of wind and I ended up with grit in my eye. My eye stung. My first reaction was to deny the cause, that there was nothing in my eye. It didn't work, my eye still stung. Of course, it's not grit, it's a Love grit! Love is formless. The grit dissolved into formless Love and felt like nothing.

It is written in the scriptures,

"The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted." (Psalm 46: 6)
I see the heathen and kingdoms moving as the belief that the universe has a material, emotional or mental cause. The "voice" is the realisation that the Universe is Spirit/Love. To be Spirit and continue to experience yourself as Spirit, the Psalmist tells us:

"Be still, and know that I am God." (Psalm 46: 10)
It is in stillness, in silence that one experiences that there is only One Love/Spirit in all.

Once one realises that Love is all there is, the Universe is transformed into the formless. A wall that used to be hard when you bang your head against it is now soft. A grit that is hard on the eye dissolves into nothing. Has the universe disappeared? Yes and No. Yes the material, emotional and mental cause universe has disappeared; but the universe still remains but is now experienced as spiritual.

Think of what the implications are when one experiences the universe as spiritual. What would happen if all the things generally agreed to be evil, such as guns and missiles, were experienced as Spirit? Can bullets injure you if you no longer perceive bullets as matter? Reminds me of a story I read in David Icke’s book:

"When King Louis XIV of France sought to purge the Huguenots in the 1600s, his death squads found a group known as the Camisards in the Cevennes Valley who simply would not die under any circumstances. Michael Talbot writes:
'In an official report sent to Rome, one of the persecutors, a prior named Abbe du Chayla complained that no matter what he did, he could not succeed in harming the Camisards. When he ordered them shot, the musket balls would be found flattened between their clothing and their skin. When he closed their hands upon burning coals, they were not harmed, and when he wrapped them head to toe in cotton soaked with oil and set them on fire, they did not burn.'" (Tales from the Time Loop, by David Icke, page 366)
It makes perfect sense to me that the persecutors, who perceived reality as dual, good versus evil, couldn't kill the Camisards. The Camisards must have realised that the universe is Spirit/Love and that they are Spirit. Can Love be what it is not? Realising the universe as Spirit opens up untold possibilities.

To live in a spiritual universe one doesn't need to "die", ascend or teleport to another realm, one only needs to realise that the universe is spiritual and observe as the spiritual universe unveils itself.

"Know what is in thy sight, and what is hidden from thee will be revealed to thee. For there is nothing hidden which will not be manifest.” (The Gospel of Thomas)
All is Spirit.

A Kite Can Only Be a Kite

A few days ago I discussed kites with my mother. I asked her when she last flew one but she couldn't remember. I said I love watching kites being flown. The next day when I went home my mother told me she'd heard an advert for "Kite Day" at a park. She'd written down the details in case I was interested.

I went to the Kite Day. I didn't have a kite but I thought it would be fun watching others. There were mostly kids running around trying to get their kites up. As I watched them I reminisced over how much fun I had flying kites as a child.

I was living in Freetown, Sierra Leone at the time. We had this tradition to fly kites around Easter. I didn't know what the symbolism was, whether it was because of the Resurrection of Christ, but it was a great opportunity to fly kites. It took weeks to prepare for the actual day. As we made our own kites, you had to buy the right kite paper, the right sticks and stuff that comes with kite-making. We also had to have strong thread, which we called "twine." The twines were so tough it was difficult to break with your teeth. Once you've bought reams of twine, you had to find the right stick, not too fat and not too thin, to twine the thread. This was a pain-stakingly slow process where you twine the thread in a figure 8 fashion round the stick until it grew fatter and fatter. Of course you had to know when you've had enough twine on the stick.

In the meantime, there was the kite-making process. My brother and cousins were very good kite-makers and even made some to sell. You had to be very careful when putting the kites out to dry as those kite papers were very delicate. We always had spares just in case. You also had to have the right tail for your kite as a tail determines how quickly a kite soars.

Usually, we flew kites on the Easter Bank Holiday Monday which falls during the dry season. We lived near a hill so it was very handy to fly kites. On a few occasions we also went to the beach but it was usually too crowded. As soon as we could we'd be up the hill with our kites accompanied by relatives, neighbours, friends, acquaintances, and strangers. It didn't matter that it was usually hot and you would be staring into the blazing sun.

There is a skill to kite flying; you have to know when to let your kite coast for a while and when to release more twine and let it rise higher. Every time my kite reached another level I would shriek with delight. Inevitably, a competition would ensue over whose kite could fly the highest. Some of those competitions ended up in disaster where someone's kite would get intertwined with another or, even worse, someone's kite would get stuck up a tree. But it was all part of the fun of flying kites.

We would reluctantly return home, some with kites still intact, and others with their kites flapping round a tree or telegraph pole, but filled with memories of another successful kite day that we could relive for days to come.

Back in the park, as I watched kids playing with their kites I thought about how kites can only fly. It doesn't matter whether the kite is nose-diving or the flyer can't get it up, kites are made to fly. If a kite is not flying in actuality, it is still flying in one's imagination. A kite can be nothing but a kite.

I thought of my essence as Spirit. It is my nature to love, be joyful and be free. It is my nature to soar. Beliefs cannot change what I am. There is no power that can prevent me being who I am. I can only be Spirit because it is my nature to be Spirit.

Here's a passage from the scriptures that expresses the inevitability of Being perfectly:

"For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come: Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. " (Romans 8: 38-39)
Nothing can stop me from soaring.

Geese versus Pigeons, Part 2; and the Winner Is...

In a previous article called Geese versus Pigeons, I wrote that I have observed geese feeding on grass peacefully with more than enough food for all. I said I have observed that when humans feed pigeons they help create an artificial reality of lack where birds end up competing for the little food apparently available. I said that the Universe has already provided superabundantly for us all and we need to stop creating artificial needs and wants, and trust in what is already available for all .

Yesterday evening, I went on a walk by a lake. The water's edge had no grass but lots of pebbles. A woman, a man and their young daughter were sitting on a broken bough enjoying their take-away meal. I sat beside them. They had attracted a flock of geese and pigeons. Now and again one of them would throw scraps at the birds. As there wasn't enough of the food to go round, the birds got into a fight. I watched a couple of geese fighting over chicken leg. Hmmm! Is it cannibalism if a goose is pecking at the bone of a chicken? The squabbles persisted between geese versus pigeons; goose versus goose; and pigeon versus pigeon, until the family finished their meal.

After the family had left I observed the birds. I didn't have any food to give them, beside I didn't want to perpetuate further competition and violence. Now that there wasn't any human food, the birds turned their attention to what was already present. By my reckoning there were only stones and pebbles, but the pigeons and geese knew better. They pecked away at the ground. There was now more than enough of the "invisible" whatever it was to go round, and the birds fed peacefully together.

That's exactly what I mean about feeding birds. Leave the birds alone and they will find what has already been provided for them. I believe an invisible hand takes care of all their needs without any help from humans.

The help birds get is like grass and wild-flowers that grow without human help. Humans believe they have such a deep understanding of nature and how plants grow, but I believe that if nature was left to her own devises, we will see flowers of such resplendence, we will be amazed.

All Good is already present. If only we'd let Life be.

A Demonstration of Oneness

I believe that only One exists. It is an immutable truth of the universe whether one is aware of this or not. By Oneness I don't mean being at one with, but the One being the One. We are like CD replicas of the original, thus, each of us is the entire universe; the One being the One. Once you realise yourself as the One you also realise that the Universe is always on your side for the One has no opposition. Though from the human or personality level, it might seem as if you go through challenges, they are not challenges, nor are they lessons; the One is totally complete and there's nothing to learn. The challenges are actually You giving yourself various gifts.

In the last week the same channel (not a movie channel) has shown one of my favourite films, Jerry Maguire twice. I believe it is a perfect example to show how oneness works.

Jerry is a sports agent in a successful firm with lots of clients. One day one of his clients is injured and is admitted in a hospital. He is at the client's bedside giving his support. The athlete's young son is very upset. He blames Jerry for not encouraging his father to stop playing. The boy's words have a huge impact on Jerry. He starts feeling guilty. One night he can't sleep as he keeps thinking of the boy and his injured client. He starts getting ideas and decides to write them down. These ideas develop into a manifesto. In the manifesto Jerry recalls the reason why he became a sports agent, to serve, and he suggests that if agents reduce their clients and salaries, agents will be able to offer better service to their clients. He is so enthusiastic he goes to an all-night printers to have his manifesto printed, copied, and bound. He ensures everyone as this firm receives a copy. Jerry has taken the first step to following his heart.

When he returns to work the next day, on the surface level, his colleagues seem very supportive of his ideas. They even applaud him and commend him on expressing what many are thinking.

Jerry's life continues as usual. He's still with his fiancée. On a plane trip he is sitting in the first class section explaining to another passenger how he proposed to his fiancée. On the same plane is Dorothy, a young single-mother who works in the accounts department of the same firm as Jerry. She is sitting in the "economy" section of the plane but close enough to hear Jerry describe his romantic proposal to his girlfriend. When they get off the plane, Dorothy can't find her son, Ray. While she's calling out to Ray, Jerry appears. He helps her find Ray. Dorothy tells him how much she enjoyed reading his manifesto and how inspiring it was. They chat for a while and say goodbye.

When Jerry returns to work, he is invited to lunch by his colleague. His colleague takes him to a restaurant to fire him. Apparently, Jerry's manifesto hasn't gone down too well with his employer.

Jerry is furious he's been fired but believes he can make it on his own. He intends to poach as many clients as he can with him. He starts phoning his clients to propose his commitment to offer them better service. At the same time, his colleague is phoning Jerry's clients to remind them that it is in their best interest to stay with the firm. In the end the only client Jerry is left with is a two-tier footballer called Rod Tidwell. Rod believes he is treated unfairly and desperate to have the right contract as he has a family to support. His catchword is "show me the money."

When Jerry leaves the firm he invites others to join him in his new venture. The only one who decides to go with him is Dorothy from the accounts department. (It's interesting that she is called Dorothy. Reminds me of Dorothy of the The Wizard of Oz who, accompanied by three friends, follow the yellow brick road to find the Wizard who would tell her how to return home).

Jerry is now without a steady income, has only one client and one member of staff. But he's determined to achieve success with his one and only client. He also decides to break up with his fiancée as he no longer feels connected to her.

Jerry starts promoting Rod with earnest. While Rod is very much in love with his wife and loves his family, Jerry believes Rod's "chip on his shoulder" attitude is stopping him from achieving financial success. Jerry thinks Rod is too focused on making money, i.e. what he can get, rather than loving the game, i.e. what he can give. While they have a few fall-outs, they grow to respect one another.

Jerry's friendship with Dorothy grows deeper and Dorothy falls in love with him, but Jerry is not so sure about his feelings for her. When Dorothy is offered a job out of state, Jerry suggests they get married. But his heart is not really in the marriage, though he loves his step-son, Ray. Soon Dorothy decides they should break up as she is not prepared to live in a loveless marriage.

One day Rod is injured in a game and is lying unconscious. All attention is focused on Rod Tidwell. His wife, watching the game on television, is distraught. The medics are sent round to assist Rod. When Rod comes round he realises he's managed to attract everyone's attention. When he gets up, the crowd cheer and chant his name. Rod is overjoyed that he is receiving so much attention; his dream has finally come true. Jerry capitalises on his new-found fame and manages to secure Rod the contract of his dreams. Rod is even invited on a television programme he's always dreamed of taking part in. Because of the closeness Rod and Jerry share, another footballer starts wondering why he is not being "loved" in the same way. While Rod is enjoying his new-found fame and success, Jerry starts thinking of Dorothy. He realises he is in love with her. He returns home to Dorothy and tells her his life is empty without her and that she completes him. They end up being reconciled.

When Jerry's experiences are perceived from the personality level, his life is filled with challenges. He shares his ideas of how he and his colleagues can provide a better service. Is he thanked for his ideas? No. He's fired from a job he loves, loses all but one of his clients, and his colleagues reject him. But from the perspective of Oneness, Jerry is being supported all the way. How? Remember there is only the One, thus, there is only Jerry being Jerry. Jerry is appearing as ALL the experiences.

Jerry is his client who gets injured. Jerry is the client's son who makes him realise he's been thinking too much of making money and not about clients' needs. Jerry is the ideas expressed in his manifesto on how to provide better service; how to be Love. Jerry is the employer who fires him. Jerry is all of his clients who refuse to move with him. Jerry is his colleagues who are too comfortable in their jobs to risk their future in the unknown. Jerry is Dorothy who trusts in his ideas, supports him in his new venture and loves him. Jerry is Dorothy's young son, Ray, who reminds him that life is fun. Jerry is Rod Tidwell who trusts in him. Jerry is Rod lying unconscious, which gives him lots of attention, sympathy and eventual financial success.

Jerry is actually the total experience played out that life is about loving what you do and love attracts love in the form of success and money, if that's what you wish to experience. Put another way, Jerry is the unfolding of the ideas in the manifesto.

As you can see, each of us is the One. When you have made the intention, you need to trust in yourself as the One. It is you, the One appearing as the various experiences necessary for the intention to be made manifest. You cannot oppose yourself. While life might seem to be against you, it is never the case. What appears to be against you is actually part of the process. There are no lessons to learn in Oneness.

The movie, Jerry Maguire is about how one man chooses to express his idea of love in all ways. I believe it is a perfect demonstration of Oneness.

The One is Love.

Enocia

Love, the Master Shape-Shifter

On a bus journey the other day, I had a thought to experience what if feels like being a cat. I was not to be at one with a cat but to be a cat. At first I felt my body change, I felt bouncy as if I was about to lunge at something then I felt goose-bumps and then silence, pure bliss. I could have stayed in that state for the whole journey.

The voice suggested I try being a lion. I did and I felt bliss.
What about a snake? Same feeling.
And a worm? Same feeling.
How about a tree? Same feeling.
Why not try being someone, anyone? Again I felt bliss.
What about being a house, a car, a computer, a television, money, clothes, or jewellery? I felt bliss.

For me, shape-shifting goes beyond personalities, beliefs and forms.

This shape-shifting exercise revealed that, for me, there really isn't any difference between animals, people, things and money. They are all Love, Bliss.

It now makes sense why I used to react in the same way to music I loved or music I didn't. With music I loved I would get goose-bumps and and feel immense bliss. I would react in the same way to music I didn't much care for, which was really annoying. It's as if the essence of music was seeking expression, no matter what the personality believes. Music is Love.

Since all is Love, what better way to attract experiences in your life than being Love? Just be Love no matter what, however one experiences Love.

Behind the many masks passing off as people, things, animals and experiences, there is only One Master Shape-Shifter called Love.

I am the Shape-Shifter,
Enocia

There is No Space

"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts." (Isaiah 55: 8-9)
"For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away." (1 Corinthians 13: 9-10)
Science tells us that if you examine a human cell under a microscope and keep magnifying it you'll find the cell disappears into nothing but empty space. It would seem that our bodies are empty space.

Your stomach is growling away and you believe you've got empty space that needs filling. You look in your fridge and see empty space, you believe you are lacking in food provision, right? Your purse is empty indicating you have no money. How are you going to fill that empty space in your fridge and in your stomach with an empty purse?

Look around you and you see lots of empty spaces with buildings, people and nature occupying these spaces. Is what you are perceiving actually true? Space has no reality. How can that be? There is space all around. There is not a single place where Love is not. By Love, I mean the substance of the universe that gives rise to form. Since Love is everywhere, how can there be any space? Space is, therefore, a false belief.

The belief in space gives rise to time. If there is space between here and there, you need time to experience the distance between here and there. Space and time go together like horse and carriage. Hehehe. Seriously, space and time give rise to cause and effect.

Since Love is everywhere, even in what appears to be empty space, this means that there is all Good everywhere, albeit formless. Formless Love is what appears as what we need to experience life. But if we go round thinking we are experiencing empty space, we are seeing "through a glass, darkly." And what you perceive is what you experience.

Paul has written that faith is "the evidence of things not seen." (Hebrews 11: 1) In other words, your senses cannot discern what is already present. Your senses cannot discern that the empty fridge and purse are already overflowing with Substance that is all Goodness ready for you to call It forth. If you believe only in what you see, you are in great lack.

If you are one who only believes what you experience with the senses, you have a sense consciousness which cannot be relied upon. The sense consciousness tends to have things back to front. When someone is annoyed with you and she is silent, you say she is giving you the "silent treatment." Silent treatment is how one who has sense consciousness deals with misunderstanding.

When people sit together and they are not speaking, people feel uncomfortable. Verbal and external communication are the only ways one who has sense consciousness believes people communicate.

But our real consciousness is Spirit/Love which communes in silence. In silence one experiences total communication. In silence there are no misunderstandings; all is known. Now do you see why the sense consciousness is not reliable?

If you're one who is seeking perfect health, know that your body reveals your consciousness. If you have a sense consciousness, space is very real to you. Space will manifest as gaps, vacuums, or the equivalent. Remember, vacuums will always seek to be filled with something, even if that something is science fiction. With Spirit consciousness, there are no gaps; there is only Perfection being perfect.

As Love is all there is, there is no time to wait, nor is there any such reality as cause and effect. If it seems as if you're waiting, hold fast to the truth that there is no space and that every moment is Love in manifestation. What seems like waiting has a purpose, all part of the unfolding of Divine Love.

As I write this, I can't say I have achieved perfection in all ways. Part of the process of "waiting" has been letting go of beliefs and learning to do nothing, and trusting in Love to perfect all that concerns me.

I trust in Substance to be Substance.
I trust in Truth to be Truth.
I trust in Spirit to be Spirit.
I trust in Perfection to be Perfection.
I trust in Love to be Love.

There is no space.
Love is all there is.

Light and Love,
Enocia

Work Out Your Own Salvation

You have heard about a wonderful park that is filled with beautiful flowers. The park is there for everyone to enjoy. While you can ask someone who has been to the park to describe the park in detail, your experience will only be vicarious. In order to have the experience from your perspective, you're going to have to make the journey.

The spiritual path is very similar. It doesn't matter how many books you've read, or how many teachers you study with, sooner or later you're going to have to experience the truth for yourself.

No matter how much we believe in one Mind, I have come to realise that another's realisation does not make me self-realised. If that were the case there wouldn't be a need for religions or spiritual teachings. There wouldn't be a need to have this experience on earth. Each of us has to work out our own salvation, as Paul puts it.

We are here to explore life to the fullest. While I am grateful for the many who have walked the "path" before me and have left useful road "maps" behind, I know that I have to explore life myself. I have to live the truth out for myself. This is what makes life fun.

Have fun on your journey!

Lots of love,
Enocia

Geese versus Pigeons

"Lo, this only have I found, that God hath made man upright; but they have sought out many inventions." (Ecclesiastes 7: 29)
During my walk by the river yesterday, I saw a gaggle of geese, 8 of them, feeding together. They were pecking at grass. There was enough grass for everyone to simply graze away, if it is grazing.

Try feeding pigeons and you attract a whole caboodle and they get into a fight over food. There is no reason why pigeons need to depend on humans for food. There are always signs in parks asking people not to feed the pigeons. Surely, the One who sustains the geese can provide superabundantly for pigeons if we trust in the Universe. Is it possible that well-meaning humans have made pigeons competitive and aggressive?

Geese and Pigeons are metaphors for the two ways of being: one natural and the other artificial. Ask anyone what they truly desire and they will tell you they seek wholeness, fulfilment, love, peace and sustenance. All our needs have already been met superabundantly, just like the geese have been provided with lush grass to last them for eternity. But humans have created false desires that have to be met; and in order to meet these false desires, they have to be manufactured, which cost money. People then have to compete for these unnatural resources.

Yesterday morning, I woke up with a bunged up nose and I was coughing. I got dressed and went to collect my mother's prescription from the pharmacist. By the time I arrived at the chemist, I was back to normal. Did I do or take anything? Nope, I didn't give the symptoms further thought. While waiting for my mother's prescription, two customers came in asking about cough mixtures. The sales assistant suggested a particular brand that doesn't cause drowsiness. Before she handed them out she asked whether they had asthma or were taking other drugs. This made me realise that I am truly in the world but no longer of the world. Drugs and diets are no longer part of my reality. I don't exercise to stay healthy. I don't watch what I eat. I don't use anti-wrinkle creams as I don't age. I take no thought and let perfection be.

Later in the evening as I walked home I thought about how funny it would be when I am 100 years old and look like a 25 year old. Imagine being invited to the party that the King or Queen of the UK at the time hosts for centenarians and not allowed in because they think I'm not who I claim to be. How could you look so young at 100? This made me chuckle.

I walked past a man in his car. He asked me about an address in the neighbourhood and I told him. He said, "You are very pretty, do you know that?"
"Thank you."
"Are you rushing home to a boyfriend or husband?"
"Nope, I haven't a boyfriend or a husband."
"How come? Does this mean you're available?"
"Yes, I am available but he has to be like me."
"What do you mean?"
"I mean he has to live a similar lifestyle."
"You're not religious, are you? Are you a born-again Christian?"
"No I'm not a born-again Christian, nor do I follow any religion. I am spiritual and I live my life by spiritual principles. So I expect my partner to be the same."
"Do you mind if I ask you how old you are?"

I told him. (I am in my late thirties, but a woman never discloses her age on her blog. Hehehe)

"I can't believe it! I'm really shocked." he said. "I bet you're always mistaken for a lot younger."
"Yup. I don't believe in aging, spirits can't age."
"Wow, I'm really shocked."

He asked me where I was originally from and I told him. He said his last girlfriend was also from Sierra Leone. We talked for a few minutes and I said goodbye.

Isn't it odd how people get shocked when you don't age? It seems so unnatural to them. How can I grow old when I am Life?

I thought again of the geese feeding together in harmony. They have all their needs met superabundantly. As Spirits we too have our needs met but we have to realise this and stop dreaming up artificial needs and resources. It is the artificial resources that let people behave like pigeons, fighting each other for food. Let us realise our true nature as geese and enjoy the fat of the land for free, for it is our heritage.

Love and Light,
The Goose

Hoodies Banned? Whatever Next!!

Have you heard of the shopping centre that has recently banned young people from wearing hoodies for fear of anti-social behaviour. (see article) First they tell us what to wear and now they tell us what to wear when we go to certain places or else. Who do they consider as "young people?" What if you look a lot younger than your years and are wearing a hoodie, does this mean you're not allowed in?

Incidentally, last night I watched a documentary on television called The Monastery about a group of ordinary men who volunteered to spend 40 days and 40 nights in a monastery. Last night was the final episode. I was amused to note monks wear hoodies, though some might call them cowls. I wonder if young monks are allowed into the same shopping centre? What about nuns who also wear hoodies? There must be a nun out there who does the occasional window-shopping as it must get tedious being in a convent, day in, day out. Sorry mother-superior, you've got a hoodie, you can't come in. Hehehe!

I think hoodies have got a bad name because of the likes of Darth Vader of Star Wars who went from being an honourable Jedi knight to being enticed by the dark side. Surely, you can't tar everyone with the same brush as Darth Vader.

I believe all this hullabaloo is good publicity for the shopping centre which is not getting a single mention from me, though you will find the name in the link provided. Hehe!

I definitely won't be going shopping there as I know I'll be kicked out. I am a hoodie wearer and proud of it.

Love and Light,
The Hoodie

What is Desire?

Every single person is the entire Universe, seen and unseen. Source is who we are.

As humans, we have many desires. Desires are perfectly reasonable as it is Source's suggestions to express Self. Let's cut to the chase and examine some popular desires. In each example I shall list the attributes of Source and how this is translated into the human experience.

I AM FREEDOM
You want to be financially secure and solvent so you can do whatever you want.
You seek a life of adventure.
You seek freedom of expression in all you do.
You want a lifestyle that doesn't tie you down.

I AM LOVE
You seek out intimate relationships and friendships where you can love and be loved.
You want to do what you love.
You want to be happy and make others happy.
You want to be appreciated for who you are.
You crave attention.

I AM PEACE/BLISS
You want peace of mind.
You seek financial security which you believe will bring you peace of mind.
You want peace in the world.

I AM TRUTH
You are interested in expressing and seeking out truth.
You want to be true to yourself.
You want to teach others how to see the truth of who they are.

I AM PERFECTION
You like taking care of yourself.
You like others who look good.
You go on various diets to attain your ideal weight.
You have your standards of perfection and are critical of yourself and others for not meeting those standards.

I AM WHOLENESS
You want to be healthy and try various diets and exercises to achieve this.
You want to learn as many techniques as you can to heal yourself and others.

I AM ABUNDANCE/INFINITY
You crave wealth and do all you can to amass wealth.
You want to live a lavish lifestyle.

The above are a few attributes of Source. This is what makes our desires universal.

As you can see, desires are perfectly natural. They are you as Source seeking expression. In our quest to express Source, we attract many experiences. We are on a quest to express our attributes perfectly. What stops us from being who we are? I believe we don't trust in Source. Let's say you are sick and want to be well as you know that your nature is wholeness. What usually happens is you look for a cause behind your illness or dream one up. The way to wholeness is to realise you are already wholeness and let wholeness be. No matter what the disease, deny any cause and let wholeness be. In other words, acknowledge your desire for perfect health and know that what you are seeking is wholeness. Then let wholeness appear in the human way as perfect health. Remember Source can appear as anything if you let Her.

Easier said than done? I know the feeling.

One of the most difficult challenges for me has been to let Perfection be. I have a spot on my face, for instance, and I have to pick it and try to make it go away. I apply all my healing techniques and dream up new ones to get rid of it. It is perfectly understandable that I should want to get rid of the spot as I know my nature is Perfection. But to let Perfection appear perfectly was a tricky one for me. I've learned to let life be and to stop looking for causes.

Desires are natural.
I see desires as Source generating ideas to express Self.
I trust in Source to appear as the very thing or experience without interference.

The Problem with Self-Will

I watched a hilarious episode of the comedy, Ally Mcbeal, last night. Ally is driving in her car when a handsome man pulls up beside her. She finds him attractive and removes her sun glasses so he can get a better look at her. By the time Ally turns to look at him the man has driven off and has been replaced by an old man; definitely not Ally's type. Ally sees the handsome guy in front of her. He pulls up at a traffic light. Ally starts wondering whether he's single. She tries to attract his attention by willing him to look in his rear-view mirror at her. He doesn't. There's only one thing to do to attract his attention: she rams into the back of his car.

While they exchange insurance details the man starts to suspect Ally has driven into him on purpose to get his attention. Ally confesses that when a woman gets to thirty it's harder to meet men like him and she was helping things along. The man is not impressed with her methods of attracting men which makes Ally wish he was a pedestrian. To cut a long story short, the man, Dennis, comes round to Ally's office and asks her out on a date. On one level, Ally has got what she wanted: to go out with a gorgeous man. But things are not that simple.

On their date, everything is going well until Ally says something that makes Dennis laugh. Much to Ally's chagrin, Dennis has a ridiculous laughter that sounds like a pig which makes Ally cringe. After their date, Dennis starts pursuing her; he sends Ally a large bouquet of flowers. Ally's reaction to the flowers is: "Oh no!" Ally tells Dennis she doesn't want to see him anymore. When Dennis asks her why she reluctantly admits she doesn't like his laugh. Dennis believes his laugh is infectious. Ally tells Dennis that if she were his friend she would advise him to never laugh again.

Later, Dennis returns to Ally's office with a neck brace claiming he was injured when Ally rammed into him. He has his brother with him, who is also his lawyer. He intends to sue Ally. He decides to settle for $25,000. Ally refuses to pay him. She blames Dennis for being at fault by pulling up in front of her car.

"Dennis and his brother look at each other...and begin to laugh, snorting and braying together in a discordant symphony of ear-splitting cacophony. The Cage/Fish lawyers wince in pain. "Pay him! Pay him!!!" Ally says quickly, trying to escape the laughter. But it continues, echoing from the rooftops." Ally Mcbeal
Go into any Mind, Body, Spirit section of a bookshop and you will see books galore about how to create your life, how to visualise anything you want, and how to make things happen. It's fine to have a sense of control over your life, after all we all deserve to be happy, but at what price? Are you able to create anything at the human level where everyone benefits? Or are you like Ally Mcbeal who gets what she wants, but regrets it and has to pay to make the experience go away?

You could argue that experiences are neither good nor bad, that it's all part of the "learning curve." True, but why go through something that can be avoided? There is another way where you trust in the Universe. What do I mean by the Universe? I am referring to my real Self whose awareness is omnipresent. Since Self is omnipresent, She always knows what is best for all concerned which makes Her omniscient.

Back to the Ally McBeal example. The Universe had given Ally important clues. The first clue was when she saw the handsome man and he was instantly replaced by a man she didn't find in the least attractive. The next clue was when Dennis was at the traffic light and he didn't look in his rear-view mirror at her. If the Universe had wanted them to get together, She wouldn't have Ally ramming into Dennis' car which was going to cost Ally to have both cars repaired. I believe Love is a lot simpler than that. Then again, Love being non-judgmental let Ally create her own experience, even if it came at a huge price.

A few months back I fancied having a nice, warm, male hug. The Universe heard me. While I was browsing at a bookshop, the universe appeared as a young man who sat beside me. Soon we started chatting away and I found him interesting. He asked me to go for a meal. After the meal he asked me to go for a bus ride with him. As someone who loves travelling on buses, I knew he was a gift from the Universe. There's no way I, the human personality, would have come up with someone like him. It turned out to be a lovely evening where we both had fun, And I also ended up getting a lovely hug from him.

The personality has its own way of viewing the world. He sees his needs as separate from the whole, thus, he experiences the universe as "what am I going to get out of this?" If you're coming from that perspective, you are like Ally McBeal trying to make things happen. You have your techniques of how to get what you want. You might win the battle but end up losing the war.

And then there is the Universe/Source, the loving presence in all. The Universe is everyone. To experience life one has to have desires. I see desires as Self wanting to seek expression. Self who appears as the desire knows how to appear as the desire in form. So I've learned to stop trying to figure out how it's going to come about, but to trust and let the Universe appear as the very thing or experience. Just because the Universe appears as the experience doesn't mean the experience has to last forever. It could last for one evening, a day, a week or years. However long the experience, everyone is blessed.

You could create your own experiences, using self-will, and regard "failures" as learning experiences; or you could trust in the Universe.

I trust in the Universe.

I am the Universe,
Enocia

A Critical Analysis of the Eurovision Song Contest

Two days ago I watched the Eurovision Song Contest. For anyone who lives on another planet, it's a song contest for all countries who consider themselves to be in Europe. It can be very entertaining.

As for what I thought of this year's Eurovision? Sexist, sexist, sexist! There were far too many women singers. I mean, I don't fancy women; I am a red-blooded feminist female who demands to see more male bodies objectified in the media. The suffragists and suffragettes went through a lot for us women; can't recall now what they went through, but whatever they did go through must count for something. I didn't go through the torture of studying tedious feminist discourses to have them thrown back in my face.

There were far too few male totties in this year's contest. There was one guy who had the "pwoar" factor. My mother, who I was watching the Eurovision with at the time, reckoned he looked like the American actor Brad Pitt. She thinks all good looking white guys look like Brad Pitt. I think she has a thing about Brad Pitt, bless her; haven't we all? One of my favourite groups in the contest were two gorgeous guys from Latvia. They looked like they should be in a boy band. The commentator, Terry Wogan, must have heard me because he said they looked like boy band rejects. They did very well as it goes, they came fifth in the contest.

The funny thing about the Eurovision is that they all sound the same. Formerly, you could laugh at those quaint Europeans in their ridiculous outfits and funny songs, now most of them sing in English and dress the same. You could easily be watching an MTV award show. The United Kingdom entry didn't even get a look-in; they came third to last and that's bad. At least they didn't end up with nil point (pronounced pwan as in French). France was second to last, and Germany came last. How times have changed!

There is also the politics surrounding the Eurovision like who votes for whom. The newly formed countries of the former Soviet Union tend to vote for each other, or Cyprus gives Greece top marks and vice versa; "tactical voting" they call it. Winning the contest is also a double-edge sword for some. Usually, the winner hosts the following year's contest. What if a country can't afford to host it? I would imagine there would be raised taxes, and massive unemployment so the country can host the next contest. Who cares how much debt a country gets into, it's the winning that counts, right? It's funny how Ireland wasn't in the finals. They've hosted the Eurovision a few times and they're only a tiny country. There was this long-running joke that Ireland could no longer afford to host the Eurovision so they perform badly deliberately so they won't win.

Reminds me of a classic episode of the comedy, Father Ted, about a group of priests in Ireland. Fathers Ted and Dougal enter the "Song for Ireland" contest to decide the Ireland entry for the Eurovision. They compose this naff song about a horse which ends up winning. One singer protests and accuses the officials of fixing the competion so Ireland's entry will lose the Eurovision. That's exactly what happens. Fathers Ted and Dougal end up with nil point.

Another thing that's interesting about the Eurovision is the number of entries have increased to 39, so much so they have a semi-final and a final. There were 24 countries in the finals. I wonder if Europe is going to expand further to include North Africa and Canada? Canada is already in the Commonwealth and I'm sure they won't mind being classed as Europeans. Imagine if the USA became Europeans! They would win all the competitions. Well, as a rich nation, they can afford to host the Eurovision every single day.

Greece won the competition with a song called "You're My Number One" about love. It was the favourite to win. When the scores started coming in, Greece wasn't doing so well. I think all bookmakers must have had panic-attacks at the thought of losing so much money. Greece won in the end; another woman singer, with a catchy tune I can't now remember. Besides it is a good strategy to choose a song with the words "number one." If you think yourself as number 1, and sing about number 1, you end up being number 1.

There are many issues around the Eurovision but what really bugs me is the sexism. I now call upon all would-be feminists, apathetic feminists, womanists, girl-power supporters and sympathetic men to support my campaign to objectify men's bodies. I want to see more good looking guys in next year's contest. If they can sing, that's good; if they can only mime, all the better. I don't care whether they are black or white, as long as they look gorgeous.

I have set up a website where you will find more details:

http://www.objectifymensbodies.andwhynot.com/ejvision.

I would appreciate your support. Men have had it good for far too long. Let's show men what it feels like to be deprived of your basic human needs.

With your support, I will have more positive feedback about the Eurovision contest next year.

Best Wishes,
EJ

ps: I was going to say "best wishes" in as many European languages as I could look up but then I decided it was a waste of time; too many countries are singing in English these days so people probably wouldn't understand.

Life is a Situation Comedy

"Laughter and the Meaning of Life: As my own guru, Harry Cohen Baba used to say, "Life is a sitcom. So sit calm and enjoy it." Swami Beyondananda
During my many bus journeys, I have observed that underneath it all people intend to love but how it comes across is like watching a sitcom. Here are a few examples. To avoid offending anyone I am replacing all expletives with the word "effing."

A Friend Expressing Unconditional Love

Guy A looking out of the bus window shouts at a pedestrian: "Get out of the effing way, you idiot!"
Guy B, "You know you’re getting worse every day swearing like that. It’s not a bad thing, but I just thought I’ll let you know."
A Mother Expressing Love for Her Daughter

"Mind your effing arm, you effing idiot, that's how you ended up breaking it the last time!"
A Father Showing Concern for His Children

A man comes on board a bus with his young kids. He believes the driver should have waited for them to sit down before driving off so he goes to confront the driver.

"What are you doing, you effing idiot? Didn’t you see I had young kids? They could have got themselves injured."

The bus driver ignores him.

The man continues, "You are supposed to look after your passengers but you don’t give a bleep, do you?"

It never occurs to the man that distracting the driver while he’s driving is not only putting his kids at risk but the rest of the passengers as well.
Customer Service

Our bus stops to change drivers from driver A to B.

An impatient passenger says to driver A: "Could you hurry up as my food is getting cold."
Driver A relays the message to driver B. Driver B replies: "Tell him to sit on his food, that will keep it warm."
A Bus Driver Showing Concern for A Fellow Motorist

A man in his car cuts in front of the bus. At a traffic light ahead, the bus driver pulls alongside the car.

"Why are you driving like an effing maniac? You could have caused an accident back then," the driver says.

The man in his car is not happy and tells the driver to eff-off.

The bus driver goes mad. "You want to pull over? I'll sort you out good and proper!"

The man drives off leaving the bus driver fuming.
Another Bus Driver Showing Concern for a Motorist

"Move, you effing idiot!"
Who needs to go to the cinema? Just observe life around you. And it's all for free.

What You Love, Loves You Back

I recently read that the actress, Renee Zelwegger, married country music singer, Kenny Chesney on 9 May 2005. According to the article, the singer always considered Renee as her favourite actress and loved her in the movie Jerry Maguire. When Jerry, played by Tom Cruise, returns to be reconciled with his wife Dorothy, played by Renee, Renee tells him, "You had me from 'hello.'" That line apparently inspired Chesney to write a song of the same name.

The movie, Jerry Maguire, was made in 1996. Renee and Chesney finally met up at a Tsunami relief benefit on January 15 of this year where they linked up. For all those years, Chesney has admired Renee from afar and their paths never crossed until this year. This is the power of Love. Time means nothing to Love. What you love will attract it back to you.

Last night I was going to watch an episode of Star Trek The Next Generation. I have seen that episode a few times and felt like watching something else. As I watched the opening sequence, I kept hearing the word: "Jerry. Jerry. Jerry." Why was I thinking of Jerry? Was I thinking of Jerry Goldsmith who wrote the theme to Star Trek The Next Generation and Star Trek Voyager? It didn't make any sense. After a few minutes I decided to check another channel to see what was on. Guess what? They had Jerry Maguire on. The movie had been calling out to me. How cute!

Jerry Maguire is about love. Jerry is a sports agent. One day he wakes to realise he's not happy with the way his company operates. He writes a new manifesto about caring more about clients' needs not just about making money. His enthusiasm is not shared by his colleagues and he ends up getting fired. He is joined by two people: Dorothy, a single mother who works for accounts, who believes in Jerry's manifesto; and a "second-tier" footballer, Rod Tidwell, who agrees to remain his only client. Jerry has to start from scratch. Tidwell believes in the kwan, which means "love, respect, community... and the dollars too. The package. The kwan." Both men are to learn about love. While Tidwell loves his wife and family, he's forgotten what it means to love the game; all he thinks about is money. Jerry has to learn about loving both his client and being open to love in his intimate relationship. By the end of the movie, Tidwell ends up getting not only the adoration he craves from the public but the contract of his dreams; while Jerry ends up being successful both at work and his personal life. What you love, loves you back.

Another example happened a few weeks ago. Recently at a forum I participate in, I posted the lyrics to the song "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" from the The Wizard of Oz. I also had a "chat" with a friend online about Telly Savalas who used to be in the cop series Kojak, and how he used to go round sucking lollipops and saying "who loves ya baby." I mentioned that I loved Telly Savalas in the movie, Beyond the Poseidon Adventure. Well, three weeks later, I watched Kylie Minogue in concert on television. She performed "Somewhere Over the Rainbow." After the concert on another channel was the movie, Beyond the Poseidon Adventure. The next day on an episode of Star Trek The Next Generation, Commander Riker was speaking to an alien. As Riker didn't trust the alien, he told the alien his ship was called "Lollipop." Another demonstration of what you love, loves you back.

I hear people thinking up so many different strategies to manifest what they want. I say the easiest way is to love. Trust in the power of Love to magnetise to you what you love. And remember that Love doesn't work on human time but does what She does in her own way.

"Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass." (Psalm 37: 4-5)
I trust in the power of Love.

All my love,
Enocia

Some Thoughts About Communication

We all know one useful method we use to communicate is through the use of language. But the words we use are mere signs of what we wish to express. Though signs are fine attempts, I believe this way of communicating to be extremely limiting. I now draw on Roland Barthes' ideas of Semiotics to illustrate my point.

Let's take the computer as an example. The word "computer" whether said out loud or in thought is what Barthes refers to as the signifier. What is evoked i.e. the image that comes to mind of a contraption with a screen, attached to a keyboard and mouse, he calls the signified. The actual computer that feels hard to the touch is the referent. The signifier or "computer", the idea or signifier, and the real life computer or referent make up the sign.

Signifier + Signified + Referent = Sign
Another example. Let's say someone is speaking about Enocia. The name "Enocia" is the signifier. What is being signified for that particular individual might be an image of a woman who travels a lot by bus and shares her experiences on a blog called Vector8 Journals. The referent is the person. All three - signifier, signifier and referent - make up the human sign.

But can anyone actually know the real Enocia? Who is the real Enocia? If people believe they know the real me through what I've written on Vector8 Journals, all I can say is: "Good luck!" I would also add that whoever believes the sign, Enocia, is the truth of who I am is making a "graven image" of me. As it is written in the scriptures:

"Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth." (Exodus 20: 4)
The sign, Enocia, is a representation of Infinity but not Infinity. Enocia is vast beyond definition. The only way to know the truth about Enocia is to go beyond the sign.

Now do you see why communication using words, that are mere signs, is not a reliable method of attaining Truth? Granted, signs are useful representations of Truth, but they are only maps. "The map is not the territory." Truth is beyond signs and concepts. Truth is in the silence.

Isn't it interesting how some people feel uncomfortable when they are sitting in silence? They feel they need to speak, to share out loud. I can just see it now, the British prime minister, Tony Blair, and the other cronies having parliamentary Question Time in silence. Hehehe! I can dream, can't I?

Beyond signs, concepts and ideas, I am,
Enocia

Joy Lifts Me Up

"You bring me joy
When I'm down
Oh, so much joy
When I lose my way your love comes smiling on me" You Bring Me Joy, Anita Baker
The real me is Joy. It is Joy that lifts me up when I have been depressed, and I've been depressed a lot. I have had so many suicidal fantasies that I believe the fantasies demystified suicide. This disproves the belief that you end up manifesting what you think about the most. The real Me, Soul, was not going to let that happen. You see I've always enjoyed spending time by myself and have spent countless hours in meditation. I had experienced myself as Light where there is no sense of space of time just eternal Being, Bliss, Life. I believe once you've experienced Being you've gone beyond the point of no return. You can't kill yourself when you've experienced who you are as eternal Life. "It ain't going to happen, sweetheart. Sorry!"

Here are a couple of examples when Joy has lifted me up.

I was very young, naive and nubile at the time. What am I saying? I am still young and nubile. Anyway, I remember standing at this train station speaking to the man of my dreams. We both liked each other but he was telling me it was a no-go area as he was already married. I can just see his lovely brown eyes filled with sadness over our situation. We were standing looking down at trains passing beneath. I felt immense grief and the old suicidal feelings resurfacing.

"The way I'm feeling now," I said, "I could easily jump." I really meant it.
"Don't be silly," he said, "why would you want to do a thing like that?"
"At least I will be doing something different with my life," I said sadly.

He shook his head and chuckled. I then realised what I'd said was oxymoronic. It made me smile and at least at that moment, I stopped thinking about suicide.

Another time was when I was a mature student. I was in a very dark place as a relationship had just ended. I couldn't focus on my studies and an essay deadline was fast approaching. I admit it was a lousy excuse as I always left things till the last minute. I started fantasising about suicide, again. I decided to phone the Samaritans who are at least trained to listen to depressed people. I spoke to this lovely guy. I told him how sick and tired I was of being treated badly in relationships and I'd had enough. He asked me if I was thinking about suicide. Have leopards got spots? Of course I was thinking about suicide. He listened to me rant and rave about men and relationships and how I didn't have the energy to focus on my studies let alone write my essay. He asked me what I was studying. I said, Women's Studies.

"I know, I know. You would think with all my academic knowledge of Feminism I should know better, right?" I said.

I could tell by his voice that he was trying hard not to laugh. But I beat him to it. I burst out laughing. We laughed long and hard. At least our laughter had halted that bout of depression.

The ego is melodramatic. His theme song is "Nobody knows the trouble I've seen." Drama, drama, drama! But my real Self is Joy.

I guess this is why I don't take things seriously. Why be serious when you can have a laugh. I say laugh at your troubles. The real You never created them anyway.

"What is the Purpose of the Material World? Life is a situation comedy that will never be cancelled, a laugh track has been provided, and the reason we are in the material world is to get more material." Swami Beyondananda
"'If I were you,' he [don Juan] commented, 'I'd listen to my inner voice. What difference would it make if you were like Jorge Campos: a crook! He was a cheap crook. You are more elaborate. This is the power of the recounting. This is why sorcerers use it. It puts you into contact with something that you didn't even suspect existed in you.'

"I wanted to leave right then. Don Juan knew exactly how I felt.

"'Don’t' listen to the superficial voice that makes you angry,' he said commandingly. 'Listen to that deeper voice that is going to guide you from now on, the voice that is laughing. Listen to it! And laugh with it. Laugh! Laugh!'

"His words were like a hypnotic command to me. Against my will, I began to laugh. Never had I been so happy. I felt free, unmasked.' (The Active Side of Infinity, by Carlos Castaneda, p.60)
Joy and Laughter,
Enocia

Being in Love

"Love is in the air
Everywhere I look around
Love is in the air
Every sight and every sound

Love is in the air
In the whisper of the trees
Love is in the air
In the thunder of the sea" (From: Love is in the Air by John Paul Young)
Recently on a bus journey, I felt stiffness on my back. I had a thought reminding me that my body is the entire universe, therefore, I can call on any part of my vast body for assistance. I closed my eyes and imagined the chair giving my back a massage. I felt energetic movement releasing the tension.

One thing I don't like so much is the wind in any shape or form. Later as I walked home, when I felt a gust of wind around me, I remembered to see the wind as part of me. The wind felt like tiny, gentle, hands stroking my face. It felt lovely.

I also reminded myself to stop seeing my clothes as irritating but as part of my body. I thanked the jumper I was wearing for her love and care.

When I'm having a bath, I remember to feel the water as part of me and my body feels like it is being gently massaged. I highly recommend it, it feels great.

I am aware now that as I am typing that the keyboards are part of my fingers. Typing is poetry in motion. The chair feels like a warm hug on my back. Even the computer screen has the biggest grin I've ever seen.

I guess one has got into the habit of thinking of inanimate objects as just that, with no life or consciousness. But everything is imbued with consciousness. The Universe is alive.

Imagine the universe as your whole body! How can anything be against you when you are being with yourself? Now I know what it feels like to really be in love.

Love is everywhere!!

Living Under Grace

"For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind." (Isaiah 65: 17)
"Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts. Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it." (Zechariah 4: 6-7)
"For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ." (John 1: 17)
This morning's news headline in my mother's newspaper was about a policeman who was cleared of speeding 159 mph, (see Daily Mail). My mother was outraged that the man was allowed to get away with it. She said it wasn't fair on others who have been convicted of speeding. I say, what has fairness got to do with human laws? Besides, there are no such laws to break. It's all made up.

Humans have created laws in mathematics that 2 x 2 = 4. Thus, this law is supposed to be consistent. If moral laws were like mathematics, then the same laws would always be applied in every case. Not so. Each case is handled on its own merits. There are various factors that influence the final verdict including one's defence team and, most importantly, one's belief. If the Law can be changed at the drop of a hat, then there are no Laws; for Laws suggest continuity, consistency and stability.

This raises the issue of Grace. I told my mother that I believe everyone should be forgiven under Grace. If you're not in your "right mind" and break the "law" why should you be punished for it when you realise what you've done? Even if the person has committed a crime, as society defines it, if someone realises that he didn't mean to do it and realises his true nature as Divine Love, why should he have to pay for his "crime?"

Under Grace, no one has committed nor can indeed commit a crime. "There is no fear in Love." Under Grace we are all innocent. Reminds me of a Christian Science talk I went to a few months ago. The speaker, Marta Greenwood, gave a testimony about when her elderly parents were involved in a car accident. They were living in America and Marta was in the UK. Her parents didn't speak any English. Marta is a Christian Science practitioner which means she heals by realising truth principles. Marta used the analogy of someone who is accused of committing a crime. If the accused can provide an alibi that proves he was not at the scene of the crime when the crime was being committed, he is innocent. In the same way, Marta "raised" her parents in thought to Divine Love. Since her parents had never left the Presence of Love, the accident could never have happened. The accident was simply a dream. (When I was involved in an accident as a child, a voice told me the accident wasn't happening, I was dreaming I was in an accident).

Marta said that though her parents couldn't speak English, Divine Love appeared as a stranger who stayed with them until another sister in America arrived at the hospital. Her mother had been in intensive care but was released the next day. She only had a tiny scar on her forehead. Her father was also released early from hospital. The hospital had not realised her father had some broken ribs. Marta went to America to care for her father using Christian Science principles and his ribs were healed.

Living under Grace is the equivalent of having a permanent alibi that you've always been with Love, therefore, you can't be at two places at the same time. If you have never left Love or stopped being Divine Love, you cannot experience human pain and suffering. It doesn't matter how awful your past or memory, if you can consistently remember that you are always in the Presence of Love, then Grace will overturn whatever "crime" you had committed in the human realm and it will be no more.

No matter how deep one is in sleep dreaming that one is mortal going through pain and suffering, one is actually always in the Presence of Love. It is a matter of "waking up" to this truth.

In truth, there is only one life: a life of Grace.

I am Grace,
Enocia

True Freedom

One thing that has been constant in my quest to know and be Self is staying in inner silence. I believe inner silence is my true nature and only through silence can true freedom be attained. This is what don Juan, Carlos Castaneda's teacher has to say about inner silence.

Don Juan assured me that inner silence is the avenue that leads to a true suspension of judgment - to a moment when sensory data emanating from the universe at large ceases to be the force which, through usage and repetition, decides the nature of the world. (The Active Side of Infinity, by Carlos Castaneda)
To live as the Silence, I have to give up all. In the same book, don Juan advises Carlos that he needs to reach a "breaking point" in his life in order for inner silence to become real in his life. Don Juan suggests that Castaneda give up his friends. As you can imagine, Carlos is reluctant to give up his friends:

"Now, now, now, don Juan," I [Casteneda] said, "I have to put my foot down. You're asking too much of me. To be frank with you, I don't think I can do it. My friends are my family, my points of reference."

"Precisely, precisely," he remarked. "They are your points of reference. Therefore, they have to go. Sorcerers have only one point of reference: infinity."

"But how do you want me to proceed, don Juan?" I asked in a plaintive voice. His request was driving me up the wall.

"You must simply leave," he said matter-of-factly. "Leave any way you can."
I believe "friends" do not only refer to human friends but everything that binds one to human beliefs and concepts. Making infinity one's point of reference is having total trust in one's nature as Infinite Spirit.

Let's take the concept, non-judgment. I used to understand non-judgement as accepting other people's choices even if you are not in agreement with them. After all, the other didn't know any better; he was ignorant of the truth that his thoughts and actions have consequences. I now realise that I was still in a place of judgment as I was judging another's thoughts as having power.

I now see non-judgment in a new light. Non-judgment is not giving a behaviour, thought or emotions any power. Non-judgment is realising that only Spirit is power. Non-judgment is continuously seeing oneself and others as Love and perfection no matter what another's thoughts, emotions or behaviour. That for me is true freedom.

On a personal level, I still feel bodily sensations which feel like pain. Do you know how freeing it is to feel sensations and not react or attach any thoughts or beliefs to them? If I feel a twinge, I don't think about a cause, I just let it pass.

When I sneeze I don't think I'm coming up with a cold, hay-fever or whatever, I just let it happen and don't judge.

When I'm no longer judging a situation as right or wrong, or as having a cause, I let Life unfold the way It is. When I am no longer judging someone as behaving a certain way because of beliefs, thoughts, emotions or expectations, I am seeing with "purer eyes." As it is written in the scriptures:

"Thou art of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity. (Habakkuk 1: 13)
Freedom is letting Perfection unfold as it is.
Freedom is letting Love be love.
Freedom is being.

I am Freedom,
Enocia

Excerpts from The Active Side of Infinity

"Inner silence works from the moment you begin to accrue it," he replied. "What the old sorcerers were after was the final dramatic, end result of reaching that individual threshold of silence. Some very talented practitioners need only a few minutes of silence to reach that coveted goal. Others, less talented, need long periods of silence, perhaps more than one hour of complete quietude, before they reached the desired result. The desired result is what the old sorcerers called stopping the world, the moment when everything around us ceases to be what it's always been.

"This is the moment when sorcerers return to the true nature of man," don Juan want on. "The old sorcerers also called it total freedom. It is the moment when man the slave becomes man the free being, capable of feats of perception that defy our linear imagination."

Don Juan assured me that inner silence is the avenue that leads to a true suspension of judgment - to a moment when sensory data emanating from the universe at large ceases to be the force which, through usage and repetition, decides the nature of the world.

[...]

"As I have told you before, many times," don Juan said, jolting me out of my concentration, "every sorcerer I know, male or female, sooner or later arrives at a breaking point in their lives."

"Do you mean that they have a mental breakdown or something like that?" I asked.

"No, no," he said laughing. "Mental breakdowns are for persons who indulge in themselves. Sorcerers are not persons. What I mean is that at a given moment the continuity of their lives has to break in order for inner silence to set in and become an active part of their structures.

"It's very, very important," don Juan went on, "that you yourself deliberately arrive at that breaking point or that you create it artificially, and intelligently."

"What do you mean by that, don Juan?" I asked, caught in his intriguing reasoning.

"Your breaking point," he said, "is to discontinue your life as you know it. You have done everything I told you, dutifully and accurately. If you are talented, you never show it. That seems to be your style. You're not slow, but you act as if you were. You're very sure of yourself, but you act as if you were insecure. You're not timid, and yet you act as if you were afraid of people. Everything you do points at one single spot: you need to break all that, ruthlessly."

"But in what way, don Juan? What do you have in mind?" I asked, genuinely frantic.

"I think everything boils down to one act," he said. "You must leave your friends. You must say good-bye to them, for good. It's not possible for you to continue on the warrior's path carrying your personal history with you, and unless you discontinue your way of life, I won't be able to go ahead with my instruction."

"Now, now, now, don Juan," I said, "I have to put my foot down.

"Leave any way you can." (The Active Side of Infinity, pp 104-106)

How to Know What Your Purpose Is

Yesterday, I fancied going for a long walk by the river, but it felt chilly at the time. I decided to do some work and put out an intention that by late afternoon it will be lovely and warm. As expected, it was sunny and perfect for my walk. I met some lovely people on the way which was a real bonus.

On my walk, I pondered over what it means to have a purpose. Many people wonder whether they are in the right jobs or fulfilling their purpose. They want to know how to serve humanity.

On my walk, I spotted a family of geese pecking away at some grass. Isn't it amazing how the Universe has given them the desire to eat grass? There's no shortage of grass near the river. Think of how many people benefit from grass. People enjoy sitting on them in parks, insects love them, and I'm sure they serve many purposes.

Take the river as another example. People are cruising on the river, fish swimming underneath and birds on top, and so much more. The river gives so much joy to so many.

Back to what one's purpose is. I believe that one way you know is whether your work benefits all life for all time. Then you are being true to yourself; you are playing your part as Spirit.

Earlier I had put out an intention to experience a lovely walk and what I received was a sunny afternoon that others were enjoying too. I saw people in boats of various sizes on the river. It also turned out to be a lovely evening.

I believe the Universe works on the basis of creating all Good for all time. Nature is there to be enjoyed for eternity provided we don't destroy them. I believe the real test whether one's work is of Spirit, an inspiration, is whether one's contribution continues to uplift and bless others thousands of years later. You can write wonderful uplifting stories that can be stored on the Internet to be enjoyed for all time. You can produce wonderful art and music to be enjoyed for all time. This is how you know you are being true to yourself.

Now, the human ego mimics Spirit every step of the way. For instance, the media is a gift to humanity to exchange and share information that blesses all. While there are many books, music and movies promoting love, the media is being utilised to control people so only a few benefit. While what is of the ego can also last for all time, you will find it to be of little value. Work of the ego are like vinyl records that were popular and useful for a while but will soon be confined to the record museum.

Do you want to know what your purpose is or whether you are fulfilling your purpose? I believe when you are expressing your joy, the question of serving for the good of all does not arise, it is automatic. What you love attracts love, thus your work blesses all for all time.

My purpose is to be Love.

I am Love,
Enocia

Gratitude to Mother Nature

Yesterday I went for a long walk by the river. I was aware of the trees, fauna and the river silently supporting me on my walk.

I see nature as a reminder of being connected to the Grid of Life. Trees and plants have roots. Though the branches of leaves and fruits are always changing, their roots remain firmly planted in the soil. The leaves and fruits mimic human beliefs that are forever changing. But the roots are symbolic of my identity as the All There Is and the interconnectedness of Life.

Thank you Mother Nature for reminding me to be true to who I am, no matter what.

I love you.

Love Conquers All

"Choose you this day whom ye will serve...but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD." (Joshua 24: 15)
"Greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world." (1 John 4: 4)
"For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith." (1 John 5: 4)
We say we believe in an omnipresent power called God, yet we say we manifest our beliefs. You can't have it both ways. Either you believe in what you believe in or you believe in a Power that transcends all beliefs.

I have been in the situation where I have believed in a greater force, yet, I have been swayed by the beliefs of the world, including mine. I now realise that I wasn't able to tap into the Power of God but a counterfeit power of god. I now realise that to have all of God you have to give up all. As the biblical Jesus teaches:

"Whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple." (Luke 14: 33)
Now, Love is very practical and works on all levels and what better way to test It than to let Love work through you?

A few weeks ago I noticed my mother's best friend had stopped calling her. As they are always "in each other's pockets" I knew something was up. I asked my mother and she said she had no issues with her. I decided to leave them alone to sort things out. Soon I heard my mother discussing her friend to another friend. Suffice it to say, they had fallen out big time. I was very sad to hear what my mother was saying about her best friend. The old programme within me was reminding me that if you have ill-feelings towards someone, it will bounce back at you. Thus, when you love others you are loving self; ditto anger, hate etc. I also knew that there was nothing inevitable about cause/effect; it is only real if you believe it is. As I was breaking the old habit of linking cause to effect, I decided to bless my mother and her friend with love. Every time I heard her speaking about her friend and I was tempted to judge her thoughts as coming back at her, I "poured" Love over her.

This morning I heard my mother coughing. As I was visualising myself bathed in Love, I bathed her in Love. She stopped coughing, got out of bed and phoned her best friend. From their conversation, they sounded as if they'd made up.

There is nothing inevitable about cause and effect. Just because someone has "negative" thoughts doesn't mean they have to attract "negative" experiences. Imagine you've witnessed an accident, do you do what you can, call the ambulance, or whatever; or do you start wondering what the victims had been thinking? I have been involved in a car accident and I was very grateful people cared enough to come to my rescue. (see Accident or Omnipresence at Work?) I have also done what I could when I have witnessed an accident. Imagine if Divine Love continuously links one's behaviour to one's thoughts? Surely that is not unconditional Love but judgment.

This leads to an important question. Is it true that the Universe attracts to you what you believe in? I believe our thoughts are creative and will attract what you believe. However, Divine Love transcends all thoughts, emotions and beliefs. Divine Love can cancel out all thoughts and human beliefs but you have to totally surrender to Love, who wants nothing but Good for all.

Let me reiterate that attracting "negative" experiences is only inevitable when you live under human laws and believe in cause and effect. The moment you surrender to Love knowing that Love is the only power, Love will transform your life and delete any repercussions expected from cause/effect.

Love conquers all. Another word for Love is Grace.

Staying Connected to the Grid and Being the Grid

"Quantum objects become increasingly granular or refined until they become pure light energy and cease to have mass. They are not of physical reality, but rather of a pure-state energy. This energy is further segmented into octaves of vibration. In other words, this light energy vibrates, and just like music, there are fundamentals and harmonics. The harmonics resonate with the fundamental energy vibration and the whole energy packet sings like a choir--except its voice is light.

"This singing, if you will, is the equivalent of a consciousness that pervades all matter--every physical object in the entire universe." Wingmakers
You're sitting in the dark when a friend pops round. "Why are you sitting in the dark, don't you have electricity?" she asks.
"Electricity? What's that then?"
"Surely you know what electricity is. It's when you connect to a power grid of energy that gives everyone light."
"I don't know if I am connected or not."
"Here let me see." Your friend flicks a light switch and the room comes to light.
"See, you already had light, you just needed to connect to the energy grid. Flicking this switch like this connects you."
"I didn't realise. Thank you," you say. "I don't know what came over me; how could I have forgotten I had electricity?"

The above is the equivalent of what happens when one identifies oneself as only human. When one looks for a cause in the human realm, one is sitting in darkness with electricity but not realising this. As the scriptures put it,

"In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not." (John 1: 4-5)
I like to think of Source as a Grid of fine filaments of light that are not discernible by the senses. The analogy that comes to mind is a tree. A tree is firmly rooted to the earth and its branches are reaching out to connect with other trees. I see my body as a tree with my body firmly rooted in the Grid but my identity is the entire Grid. This Grid is the One, the substance of all. When you know yourself as the One, you are All There Is.

Now, as the saying goes, "you can't have your cake and eat it too." In other words, as the biblical Jesus teaches,

"No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon." (Matthew 6: 24)
You have to choose whether you identify yourself as human or the Light Grid. I find that the human experience disconnects you from the Grid. For instance, while I was pondering these ideas yesterday, I suddenly had the most awful stomach ache as if I was going to be sick. The human way is to wonder what the cause is, whether it is something I'd eaten, a thought I or someone else share etc. I wasn't going to go down that path. I sat quietly and imagined myself as the Grid. The pain left me.

The Light Grid is Life that is complete and whole. It is infinite Source. There are no hierarchies in the Grid. Everyone has access to the Grid; it's a matter of connecting to the Grid and knowing who you are. To continuously be the Grid one has to abandon all other ideas. If you choose this path, the world will continue to test you. We're all used to looking for solutions in forms. Whether it is a health problem, finances, work, relationships, we've got into the habit of looking for a cause either in matter, emotions or thoughts. But to live as the Grid, one has to continuously depend on and see the Grid as one's identity and Source.

Last night, I discussed the Grid with my mother. She immediately compared the Grid to connecting to electricity. At the time she was watching the "God Channel" on satellite. She complained that there was nothing worth watching and was about to switch channels. I noticed the opening sequence of a programme about to start had the word "connect." I pointed this out to my mother and suggested that we watch the programme. A woman came on and was teaching her viewers how to let go of obstacles, "boxes," by trusting in Jesus Christ. At one point she talked about "God switching the light on." My mother stared at me in amazement and we laughed.

In a way, the Christian teacher and I we were thinking along the same lines though I don't follow any religion because I don't need a mediator to connect to and be the Grid.

I believe each of us can connect to the Grid by intending it so. When we do, we get to experience what it means to be the One in our own unique ways. Right now there are only a few people living as the Grid and their thoughts are influencing the masses. This is a great irony because people complain about how the media, society and politics manipulate the masses. They seek truth in spiritual teachings, religions and other disciplines and find themselves caught in the same trap. If you are not prepared to take responsibility to be the Grid yourself, you will end up being a follower of someone else's doctrines and be manipulated, albeit these "teachers" mean well.

Imagine a universe when each of us is living as the Grid and living lives of pure genius. Imagine a life where all supplies come from the Grid. Imagine a world where you can unfold whatever reality you choose through the Grid. All it takes is knowing you are the Grid and trusting in the Grid.

Anyone care to join me?

I am the Grid,
Enocia

Following are a few references to the Grid in the scriptures:

"...choose you this day whom ye will serve...but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD." (Joshua 24: 15)
"Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness." (Isaiah 55: 1-2)
"Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned." (John 15: 4-6)

Being Who You Are

Imagine going to a music concert and the performer comes out and he or she can't sing. Why promote yourself as a singer if you can't deliver? I don't care if you have to mime or whether your voice is not perfect, as long as you can entertain that will do me fine. Otherwise, I want my money back.

I once had a relationship with a music producer and he was a musician through and through. It was all he thought about. He really inspired me to follow my passion.

If you are Love be Love. As Love, you love because you can't be anything but Love; at least, this is how I experience Love. I feel Love wanting to express through this instrument and there's nothing I can do to stop Her.

The human way is that you can't be loving until you are feeling loving. Then you'll have a long wait. There's no need to wait. It doesn't matter whether you're feeling lousy, that's the human personality stuff. Just love anyway. It could be smiling at someone, thinking loving thought of someone, recalling a joyful moment, or sending someone loving energy.

It is in giving away that you are being who you are.

I am Love,
Enocia

Where Love Is

"And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die." (Genesis 2: 16-17)
I was brushing my teeth this morning when I noticed the toothbrush had blood on it. I looked in the mirror and saw blood oozing out of the corner of my front tooth. Did I start dreaming up reasons for the bleed? Nope. I touched my gum and imagined love pouring into it. I told my gum and teeth how much I loved them and thanked them for being perfect. The bleeding stopped and I continued brushing my teeth.

We live in a universe where thoughts are creative. If you can think it, it exists. Is it any wonder why there are so many different diseases cropping up all over the place? Science is forever looking for different causes and as you seek so shall you find, even if you have to dream them up.

I believe that the "tree of the knowledge of good and evil" in the Garden of Eden that Adam and Eve were warned not to eat is the constant search for a cause. There has to be a cause and I'm going to find it, even if it kills me. Where would I be if I was looking for a cause for the gum bleed? I would be making an appointment to see a dentist on Monday, a shrink on Tuesday, a nutritionist on Wednesday, etc.

I now support a new "cause": to live in a causeless universe, one where there is no material, emotional, or mental cause, nor do I go looking for one. It is a realm of pure Love, the causeless realm. In the causeless realm, one can eat freely of "every tree of the garden" and live as immortal beings.

Is the causeless realm Ultimate Reality? Who knows? All I care about is that it is a choice I am making.

I choose to live in a universe where love is.

Light and Love,
Enocia

Spirit in a Bottle versus Supernal Spirit

While in a bookshop yesterday, I heard an announcement for a book launch. The book was written by a member of staff. I go to this bookshop so frequently the staff feel like family. I felt I should support him, besides, they were also offering customers free glasses of wine.

I gulped down a glass of red wine. I'm not much of a drinker and the wine had gone straight to my head. I felt a bit light-headed. Everyone had a wonderful aura around them. The world sure is a beautiful place! I tried to read the blurb to the new novel but I couldn't make head nor tail of it, so I left to catch my bus home.

Fortunately, it was a long bus journey so I had time to get myself back together. It was quite easy really, I simply meditated and returned to normal.

As I walked home from the bus stop I had a thought that the feeling I had after drinking wine was more or less identical to when I am being true to myself as Spirit. Consider the following:

Bottle Spirit: I feel light-headed and unsteady on my legs.
Supernal Spirit: I can't feel my body or my legs, it's as if I'm not there.

Bottle Spirit: I feel a lot of love for everyone and everyone looks friendly.
Supernal Spirit: I love everyone and everyone looks friendly.

Bottle Spirit: I feel really relaxed, all thoughts are dissolved.
Supernal Spirit: I am in complete bliss, all thoughts cease.

Bottle Spirit: I've only had hangover once in my life and I had a headache and was nauseous.
Supernal Spirit: Without Spirit I feel sluggish, unfulfilled, unhappy and depressed.

Wow! Whoever thought up the word "spirit" for an alcoholic beverage knew what he was talking about.

Now, given a choice between spirit in a bottle and supernal Spirit, which do I prefer? Hmmm. Tricky, very tricky. I prefer to stick with supernal Spirit and enjoy the occasional tipple.

Still, I'll check the bookshop's programme for the next book launch. You never know, they might be offering free wine. I can then use that opportunity to prove once and for all whether I prefer spirit in a bottle to supernal Spirit.

{Gormless grin).

Love Without Conditions

"But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly." (Matthew 6: 6)
Believe it or not, I am not always in an elevated state of consciousness, nor do I always feel like speaking to people on my journeys. Sometimes, I just want to be left alone.

It felt very cold yesterday evening. On a bus journey home I tried to keep warm. I heard sobs. I looked around the bus and noticed a man sobbing. He was draining a can of beer in his mouth soon followed by another. People stared but no one went near him. When passengers came on the bus he stared at them and sobbed even louder but passengers fled to the other side of the bendy bus.

While I didn't feel like speaking to him, I knew I could help in the only way I knew how. I imagined liquid love pouring over his head. In my mind's eye I gave him a hug and I went back to my meditation. The man continued sobbing and "drowning his sorrows" all the way to his destination.

When I got off the bus I still felt cold. The evening felt more like deep winter and my bones rattled. I could do with some liquid Love. I saw myself as Light pouring energy over my head and giving the human self a hug. I immediately calmed down. Once I was at peace, I felt neither hot nor cold. I see heat and cold as different states of mind or thoughts which, when dissolved into the formless silence, cease to have form...until you start thinking again.

As I walked home I thought again about the man on the bus. It would seem as if because no one went near him no one cared, but you can't go by appearances. I am sure people care and some may have wondered what was wrong with him, why he was drinking so much etc. Just because someone hasn't acted in a physical way doesn't mean people don't care.

It is easy for one to judge another, particularly someone drinking. You wonder why he's getting himself in that state in the first place. Why isn't he taking responsibility etc? But Divine Love doesn't judge people's behaviour, Love is without conditions.

I then realised that I had been thinking about having so much love and wanting to love others. Well, the Universe provided the perfect opportunity to love as God loves; to love in secret and trust in the Love to work through the human instrument as he or she is open to receive. Love never fails.

Divine Love is without and beyond conditions.

I am Love,
Enocia

Why It is Important to Have Discipline

The following happened yesterday on a bus in the way to town.

I am resting in silence. From the silence I hear the driver announcing that the bus is being delayed because of some accident. I open my eyes. I notice the world spinning round me. How very odd! Just as well the body is sitting down. Then I notice a loss of sight in one eye signifying a migraine.

I know there is no cause to this so I affirm "no cause" and remain in silence. After a while, I notice sight is back to normal, yet there is a thumping headache on one side. The stomach is churning wanting release, all symptoms of a migraine.

What's strange about the experience is that I am aware that on the one hand, I am completely blissful. On the other hand, I observe the body going through migraine. I know only one is true and it is not the bodily experience. Reminds me of a joke by Tommy Cooper:

"Apparently, 1 in 5 people in the world are Chinese. And there are 5 people in my family, so it must be one of them. It's either my mum or my dad. Or my older brother Colin. Or my younger brother Ho-Cha-Chu. But I think it's Colin." Tommy Cooper Jokes
Throughout the journey I remain in silence. As soon as I arrive home, I sit in silence. Though I can still hear the television and, at one point, my mother gets on the phone, I'm unaffected by the sounds.

My mother said she took some pain killers earlier and felt woozy and couldn't go out. I realised it was her pain the human body had picked up on which was translated as a migraine.

When you are One with all humans, you might be affected by the various thoughts and beliefs out there. This is why it is important for me to have discipline by practising being in silence or working with Sacred Fire. Discipline is a reminder that my identity is Spirit though I may appear to have a body.

As for the thought passing off as a migraine? It was dissolved in the silence.

I am Spirit,
Enocia

When I work with Divine Love, I imagine molten purple liquid pouring over the top of my head like a gentle waterfall, going to all areas of my body. The analogy that comes to mind is a volcanic eruption. Like a pyroclastic lava flow, the molten liquid melts everything in its path, such as beliefs I have, thoughts, errors, thoughts about others within my consciousness, people I meet, everything; transforming all into molten Love. The relentless Sacred Fire continues Her work of purification and transmutation for eternity.

If I need any physical healing I simply direct the molten purple liquid to whatever part of me needs it.

I am the Sacred Fire,

The Consuming Fire

"For our God is a consuming fire." (Hebrews 12: 29)
I am the all consuming Fire that is Divine Love. When called upon, I transmute all creations unlike me to be like me. Nothing is too large or small for me. And there is no need for any preparation, just call upon me and I am there. But you must surrender to me completely.

The writer has experienced my presence as sparks of electricity on her body which she finds very painful at times, as if she is on fire. Know that this is due to her perception.

I am cool if you expect coolness; I am hot if you expect heat; I am electrifying if you expect electricity. I recommend that you let go of all definitions and expectations and accept me as I am. Even the colour, purple, is how the writer perceives me but as she feels happy with seeing me as purple, that is OK with me.

I am the all consuming fire that is Love. Call upon me and I am at your service.

And another thing, I am You.

All My Love,
The Consuming Fire Enocia

My Name is Enocia

"And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him." (Genesis 5: 24)
My name is Enocia, from Enoch, who was described in the scriptures as "walked with God and he was not." It is generally accepted that Enoch ascended and did not experience death.

I was inspired to adopt this name to reflect my life as walking with God. The way I see it, when I perceived reality as God and the world, I am walking with God.

When I see only God then God has taken me and I no longer am. All is God.

Enocia is pronounced E-knockea.

I am Enocia

My Best Efforts Are Not Enough

"Submit yourselves therefore to God. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you." (James 4: 7-8)
In the presence of Love, human efforts are meaningless.

As humans, we have our ideas of what Love is and what it means to act from a place of Love. All of that is made-up stuff and has nothing to do with Love.

Let's say you observe someone behaving in a way you believe is not of Love. According to your perception, she is being hateful about someone, angry and filled with fear. You believe her words and thoughts are hurting the other and hurting herself. This is based on the consensus agreement that what you do to others you do to yourself, as there is only One in reality. This is only true because you believe it is true. But from the place of Love, it matters not how someone is acting, for Love only knows Love. Love can only Love. As it is written in the Bhagavad Gita:

"The Lord is everywhere
And always perfect:
What does He care for man's sin
Or the righteousness of man?" (The Bhagavad Gita, translated by Swami Prabhavananda & Christopher Isherwood)
The Lord is Perfect Love. I am the Lord and it is always Me loving the human form. The Lord is a consuming fire of Love that is so intense it can melt away any resistance one may have, change reality, and leave you in complete bliss. But I have to let go of all human ideas of Love and submit to the Lord.

Do you feel guilty about treating another "badly" in the past? Do you have any regrets? Turn to the Lord for the Lord loves you anyway.

Do you think you are a bad person? Turn to the Lord for the Lord loves you anyway.

Do you feel you are not deserving of love because you don't know how to love? Turn to the Lord for the Lord loves you anyway.

Do you believe you need to have understanding Truth before you can enjoy all Good? Turn to the Lord for the Lord loves you anyway.

There is nothing I have to learn to be worthy of Love.
There is nothing to forgive to be worthy of Love.
I don't need to be good to be worthy of Love.
I don't need to be perfect to be worthy of Love.
There is nothing to prove to be worthy of Love.

All the teachings of truth will never come close to the One Truth that I am the Lord/Divine Love.

All I need to do is accept my inheritance, that I am Love.

If any law exists it is this: "Love, Love, Love."

I am Love,
Enocia

The Love That Wants Nothing in Return

"For our God is a consuming fire." (Hebrews 12: 29)
"God is light, and in him is no darkness at all." (1 John 1: 5)
"God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him." (1 John 4: 16)
You could have all wisdom; you could be the most successful (in human terms) man or woman in the world; you could be the richest person; but without Love, it all means nothing. I have searched for this Love in relationships, at work and play, even in spirituality, but none have come close to this Love I am about to describe.

What is this Love? To put it simply, I am the Love I seek.

When I want to experience this Love, I imagine myself hugging me, the human form; but the Me doing the hugging is much larger. Another way I express this Love is I see the human self as very tiny, and the Me that is Love like a lamp shade that covers the human completely. The Love I feel is so intense that all ailments or resistance melt away.

As the Love that I am, I don't care about human knowledge. I don't care about what the human self has done in the past. I don't care whether the human self is good or bad in human terms. I, Love, am all consuming and melt away all thoughts the human self has into silence.

The Love that I am is like sitting next to a warm fire and feeling so comfortable that you lose yourself in the warmth only to discover you are the fire.

The Love that I am is like being in silence i.e. having no thoughts and you get so lost in the silence that you forget yourself as a human and know nothing but silence.

For many years I have been interested in healing. I've studied several healing techniques. I can dream up new cures for different ailments but the simplest cure of all is Love.

A few hours ago on one of my bus journeys, I felt pins and needles on my body which hurt, I get this from time to time. I swapped states and knew myself as Love. I hugged the human self and repeated "I love you," over and over again until the human self calmed down and the pain dissolved into nothing.

As I was waiting for my bus I heard a woman complaining about the appalling service and how she'd been waiting a long time. I was also waiting for the same bus but I was using the time to hug myself. I felt this uncontrollable urge to hug the woman but I didn't want to frighten her. I moved towards her and engaged her in a conversation about buses. She told me where she'd been and where she wanted to go to. In my own way, listening to her was giving her a hug.

Sometimes I feel as if I'm going to burst with all this Love. I would like to share this Love in relationships, to love just because it feels so good to Love the way I am being Love. I guess this website is an outlet for me to share the Love that I am.

God is Love and all is God. This Love is all consuming and can feel very intense if you're not used to a Love that doesn't judge or want anything in return. I believe this is the Love people seek in friendships and relationships and in life experiences.

I am Home.
I am truly the Love I seek.

All My Love,
Enocia

Silence is Power

It's been a windy day today. I came out of a shop and I was nearly blown away by a sudden gust of wind. The ferocity of the wind whipped against my left cheek and I escaped for dear life into silence. In silence I faced the wind and continued my walk. I observed people around me being tossed about but for me, it was as if nothing was happening.

Indeed nothing was.

We tend to think of thoughts as intangible and invisible entities that can be positive or negative. This is not how I perceive reality. Thoughts are everywhere, they just appear in different forms. A lot of the time they appear very solid like our bodies, buildings, trees, wind, rain, climatic conditions and all forms around us; and other times they are invisible. Yet they are thought-forms.

To move from the realm of thoughts I retreat into silence. I have observed that silence either dissolves thought forms to the formless, or it transmute thoughts into different states, in the same way heat transmutes ice to liquid and then gas. I have noticed that when I spend a lot of time in silence, I feel weightless, like I am not here, yet, I'm very much visible.

Back to the gust of wind example. When I came out of the building, I was in a thought form state. In this state, thoughts compete against other thoughts for supremacy. In this realm, thoughts attract like-thoughts. But when I stepped into the causeless realm of silence, I was able to transmute my body into formlessness where the wind has no power.

Imagine what the world will be like if people practised being in silence for a few minutes, at least, a day. What bliss!

Silence is Power.

I am Silence,
Enocia

All is Love

Years ago I trained in NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming). Now, NLP doesn't profess to be the Truth. The founders acknowledge NLP as a map of reality only which one can believe in if one finds it useful.

While studying NLP I came across the following presupposition), which originates from Virginia Satir, a family therapist: "Behind Every Behavior is a Positive Intention." A lot of the NLP techniques are based on this presupposition which of course have to be tested.

I believe "positive intention" is another way of saying Love, the essence of all. Love is a knowing, a presence, though it is imperceptible to the senses. You can sit with someone and feel this presence as silence without needing to say or do anything.

We are all trying to express Love. Even when someone appears to be angry or behaves in a way one finds unacceptable, the intention is to express Love in the only way the individual knows how.

I believe to express Love, I have to realise I am Love. I know myself as this Loving Presence, the stillness.

Let's say I, the Presence, wants to express Love for someone. I need to manifest in a form that the other will find most appropriate and willing to accept. I appear in different forms; as a friend who you can have fun with; as a boyfriend who adores you and shows his love by buying you presents and want to spend time with you; as a passion for a hobby; as the pleasure someone gets from basking in sunlight; as a feeling of joy; there are innumerable ways I appear.

Let's say I appear as love from your partner. This means that his every touch, his smile, the way he looks at you, his kisses, his words and actions are Love being expressed in the way you expect Love. He may not express me perfectly but it is the positive intention, Love, that counts. If you really want to feel my presence with your boyfriend, be still and you will know me in the silence.

Since I know I am Love, I realise that Love expressed through various human instruments are me loving myself.

The other day I saw a man driving in his car. Our eyes met and we exchanged smiles. I knew I was loving myself through him.

Every action has a positive intention. Instead of looking at someone's behaviour, good or bad, go beyond to the original intent, the Presence trying to express Self. Be still for a moment and be with the intention in the silence.

Love is Essence.
Love is Presence.
I trust in Love.

I am Love,

Trusting in Guidance

"I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron: And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the LORD, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel." (Isaiah 45: 2-3)
What is guidance? How do I know when to trust in guidance?

It's earlier today and I'm on the bus to my local library. I am sitting downstairs. Just as I am about to get off I see myself back on the bus, sitting upstairs. Does this mean I should just stay on? I get off the bus anyway.

The Internet facilities are not working in the library. Damn, I should have stayed on that bus! Why didn't I listen to my intuition? I return to the bus stop and a bus arrives shortly. I decide to sit upstairs.

During the journey I ponder over what would have happened if I had stayed on that bus. How would I have known I was right? I had to test my intuition so I had made the right decision to get off the bus, find out, and get back on another bus. In any case, I can see the first bus ahead of us. I arrive at my destination a few minutes behind.

This example demonstrates that I am omnipresent. I am constantly sending myself information about what I should expect and making preparations in advance. I need to continue to stay alert and trust in myself, for I am Guidance.

Love and Light,
Enocia

The Games People Play!

I like taking naps on my bus journeys. I've noticed lately that when I fall asleep, I wake up not having a clue where I am or who I am. I remember nothing. I am completely empty of all thoughts, desires and feelings. I simply am the I.

Then I stay in that state until I remember that I am on such and such a bus going to such and such a place.

Who is this "I" playing at being and going somewhere?

I only know I am the Silence and there is nothing to be and nowhere to go.

Oh the games people play!

I am Silence,
Enocia

Trust in the Universe, She Knows What She's Doing

It is late afternoon and getting pretty chilly. When I get on the bus at the first stop I shut two of the windows. I bask in the warmth. At the next stop more passengers get on. Much to my dismay, two guys open the windows. Great, thanks a bunch! I brace myself for the wind's impact; I pull up the zip on my jacket and adopt a huddling position. But the Universe has other ideas. The sun comes out and I feel heat all round my neck, so much so, I unzip my jacket. I get it, Oh ye of little faith, right? Hehehe!

Sometimes when I'm in town and on my way home I catch a bus to Aldwych and another bus from there. Now at the last stop, the driver either stops at, say, Stop A or Stop B. Both stops are good for me as I can catch any of the buses home from there. The only snag is knowing which one will arrive first. Do I stand in the middle of Stop A and B and make a dash for it which bus comes first. The Universe provides a much easier solution as illustrated in the following example.

I'm on the bus to Aldwych. At the last stop, the driver stops at Stop A. As I trust in the Universe, I know this is an indication that the first bus will arrive at Stop A. Sure enough, in less than 2 minutes my bus arrives at Stop A. Effortless.

The Universe knows what She is doing. Once the intent has been put out, She is on the lookout for agents to fulfil that particular goal. In this piece, the agent in the first example is the sun which keeps me warm even when the windows are open. In the second example, the agent is the bus driver who stops where I need to catch my next bus.

All is One and nothing can oppose the One unless you believe in the contrary.

In every moment all is perfect.

I am the Universe,
Enocia

Revisting the Causeless Realm

“Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.” (John 4: 34)
Imagine waking up one day to find trees hanging in mid air with no roots. Would that freak you out or would you accept this reality as normal? What if people were constantly appearing out of nowhere? Would you be able to accept this reality?

We are so used to the notion of cause and effects. A tree can't appear without expecting it to be planted first as a seed. People can't appear out of nowhere, they have to either be walking or arrived on transportation. Even if someone teleports, they have to come from somewhere. What if appearing out of nowhere and for no reason was normal?

I believe in two Ultimate Truths:

1. There is only One Intelligence or Power that is responsible for the visible and invisible realm.
2. There is no cause to the universe, visible or invisible.

It would seem like there is a contradiction. How can there be one Power behind all and yet there is no cause. It is simply this: the One Power or Intelligence is causeless, therefore, there is really only one Ultimate Truth:

There is No Cause!!

A woman whose husband has gone to war receives news that her husband has been killed. She is inconsolable. After a few days, she receives confirmation that her husband is still alive and well. The woman is jubilant. Was there a cause for her misery? It seemed like there was and yet there was no cause as her husband was still alive. Her inner state couldn't tell the difference between fact and fiction. What if her husband had been captured and languished in prison for years while she believed her husband had died. She eventually accepts the situation and moves on, re-marries even, until one day her husband returns. What then?

I have been in situations where I have been upset about something based on my view at the time only to discover I was completely wrong, which changed my inner state to happiness. This is the reality of the world we live in which is a roller-coaster ride of emotions. You experience what you believe to be true, whether it is fact or fiction.

Life is a dream where things come out of nowhere without a cause but we can choose to believe everything has a cause. Since it is all imaginary anyway, what you believe to be true will be created as your truth. If you believe in a law of cause and effect so be it.

Has it ever occurred to anyone that if something can happen out of nothing, if the universe can mould itself to fit one's beliefs and expectations, that there can't be any laws? With laws there are fixed rules that you adhere to in order for such and such to occur; maths is a good example. If the universe can be anything, how can there be any fixed laws?

The way I see it, instead of adding to the conflicting beliefs, why not stick to what I believe to be true: There is No Cause. Thus, no matter what is going on out there, there is no cause.

I may be stuck in a traffic jam and logic dictates there has to be a cause to the traffic. It could be because of an earlier accident, or there are roadworks or faulty traffic lights; but I say there is no cause. I then observe the traffic dissolve into nothing. Naturally, as the universe likes to please everyone, the traffic will re-materialise for those who believe in a cause.

Someone promises to get in contact and he hasn't. Do I drive myself nuts dreaming up reasons why he hasn't got in touch. Forget it. There is no reason why he hasn't contacted me. Everything is perfect. If he does that's fine, if he doesn't that's also fine.

I feel sick all of a sudden. Do I start racking my brain over the cause? What was I thinking before? What is this trying to teach me? Ah, forget it! I say there is no cause and observe the body get back to normal on its own. If I'm looking for a cause, I will receive ideas about possible causes and spend time, however long, trying to understand, learn from and root it out, so I can eventually be healed.

The universe, as I see it, is causeless, therefore, it is not under any laws. It is a realm of "anything goes." Whatever you believe is true and lovely is what you experience. The problem arises when people try to impose their ideas of what is true and lovely on others and expect everyone to share the same beliefs. If you believe that you have to adhere to a certain rule in order to have an experience, the Intelligence will "inspire" someone to create that very rule and you will end up believing and adhering to that rule in order to experience that reality. When you repeat a belief often enough, when many people believe in something often enough, it appears to be true.

The causeless Intelligence contains all possible realities and beliefs. It will give you a universe of cause and effect if that is what you believe. Isn't it possible causelessness is also a belief? Sure, it is a belief. I would rather believe in a reality where all things are possible without any rules, than one where you have to follow rules. What if you don't know the rules and others do? You are basically stuffed!

How can one experience life in a causeless universe? Here's part of the lyrics to A Spoonful of Sugar in my favourite movie of all time, Mary Poppins, which I believe explains it.

In ev'ry job that must be done
There is an element of fun
you find the fun and snap!
The job's a game

And ev'ry task you undertake
Becomes a piece of cake
A lark! A spree!
It's very clear to me

That a...
Spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down
The medicine go down-wown
The medicine go down
Just a spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down
In a most delightful way A Spoonful of Sugar
In other words, you start off knowing that life is only a game and it shouldn't be taken seriously, then you start to play. You decide what game you want to play and observe as the game plays itself.

In the scene where Mary Poppins sings this song she is teaching the kids, she's looking after, how to tidy their bedroom. During the game, the clothes tidy themselves up. This is how I believe we are meant to experience life, as a game. You decide on the intent and let it play itself.

When we make up rules we limit the game. Imagine if Mary Poppins had a rule for how the clothes and toys should behave. They probably would still be lying on the floor. In the causeless realm, all things are possible.

A while back I was helping a friend move a table out of his house. The table was too wide to go through. In thought, I asked for help and the wall moved so the table could slip through. Would this have been possible under the law of cause/effect? You can't expect something that hard to change its shape all of a sudden. You're going to need many people to believe in that possibility for it to happen. That's the limitation of living in a reality of causes.

Just yesterday in the library while I was emailing a friend, I realised my time was fast running out. If I wanted more time I was going to have to ask the librarian. The time was automatically increased without me having to ask, so I had enough time to finish what I was doing. How did this happen? I don't care to speculate, thank you very much.

I have played the game of thinking first and expecting the thought to be made manifest in due course whether by effort or through someone else. I prefer playing new games.

Games where there are no rules.
Games where I expect the unexpected.
Games where all things are possible.

Yeah, I much prefer living in a causeless realm.

I Am,
Enocia

Good versus Evil

"Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God." (Matthew 19: 17)
Is there such a reality as good versus evil? There appears to be the case. People are constantly moving towards what is good and wanting to be good; while moving away from or fighting against evil.

There are many things I like that I consider to be good that others might frown upon. For instance, I love eating tissue paper but many might consider this bad. There are television programmes I enjoy which others might consider evil. What exactly is good and evil?

Good and evil appear to be discrete states. I believe this is only the case when perceived as separate from the whole. When I see myself as the only One where everything is a part of that One, there ceases to be realities/states of good versus evil. Everything is.

A while back I went shopping with my mother. At the supermarket, I noticed this woman doing her shopping. I saw the same woman in another aisle and smiled at her. I saw her again later and we exchanged smiles. I teased her about following us. Then she said to my mother, "You must be very proud of your daughter. She is very good, isn't she?" My mother said yes. I wondered what the woman meant by "good."

On another recent outing with my mother, an elderly gentleman got on the bus we were on. I've seen him around and always have a chat with him. I like the way he addresses me as "madam." He said hello and I introduced him to my mother.

"Your daughter is very good, madam," he said to my mother. "She always says hello when I see her. She has a lot of respect for people."

At least he had elaborated on what he meant by "good."

Is there an ultimate Good? For me, Good is like experiencing all types of love at the same time, which makes you want to experience that feeling forever. How this feeling gets translated in the human realm is another matter.

Someone who is very loving and giving, for instance, might be perceived in the human realm, on the one hand to be loving, kind, sexy, magnetic, charismatic, joyful, happy, peaceful, trusting, compassionate, warm and relaxing; on the other hand, could be perceived as intense, full-on, overwhelming, unrealistic, untrustworthy, naive, and gullible.

It all depends on the one interpreting Good whether she or he is open to receive or think it's all too much. The feelings evoked leads one to experience the physical equivalent. When you feel "happy" you attract "happy" situations...etc.

I believe the many different states are opportunities for the One Good to express Self. As long as the states don't forget that although they are a playing at being different states, their nature is Good and will always be Good.

There is no good versus evil, only Good.
There is only One and it is very Good.

I am Good,
Enocia

My Pet Hates

I have two pet hates. Aaargh! Aaargh!

The first pet hate is cliffhangers i.e. television programmes or movies that come in parts. They leave you wondering what happened to the characters. Sometimes you have to wait months for the next part or, in the case of a movie like Star Wars, you have to wait years for the prequels. Aaargh!

Keeping people waiting is getting people to believe in time. There is no time. Time is an illusion. There is nothing to wait for! Aaargh!

The next pet hate is those who profess to be God's mediators.

"Trust in me and I'll lead the way home to God."
"Trust in me and I'll teach you the word of God."
"Trust in me and I'll tell you how to live your life."

No thank you, I need no mediator to God.

For one to trust in a mediator, one has to believe one is apart from God. Everything and everyone is God. Since there is only God why does one need a mediator? I trust in myself. Aaargh!

There you have it, my two pet hates.

Aaargh! Aaargh!

Aaargh,
Enocia

Life is Like Watching Different TV Channels

In Metaphysics, it has become very popular to think in terms of the "real" and the "unreal." We say "only love is real." What does this mean? Is an experience that is considered "real" one that lasts for eternity; and the "unreal" ephemeral? I have come to realise that all realities exist for eternity whether you believe them to be "real" or "unreal." World is truly without end.

Yesterday on another bus journey, a bus stop was brought to my awareness. Over the last year, in preparation for the new Bendy buses, many bus stop have been refurbished. As I stared at that particular bus stop, I realised I couldn't remember what the older versions looked like. It felt like at some point I had shifted from one reality to the next along with my memory of previous bus stops.

Just because bus stops are new doesn't mean the older versions have disappeared from memory. The previous versions exist within Universal Mind in another reality now imperceptible to the human senses, and will exist for eternity. I know for a fact that all thoughts exist for eternity. When I have visited historical places of interests, I have been able to "see" people in that era. I once went on a tour of a listed building in London. While we stood on the stairs and listened to the guide, in my mind's eye I saw a lady's dress caught on something and watched her tumbling down the stairs. The guide told us that in former times, women were constantly getting their long skirts caught and falling down those stairs. Did I read her mind or was I reading Universal Mind? I would say I was reading the one Universal Mind where I was able to tap into information that exists for eternity. I've learned my lesson and I tend to avoid tapping into the Universal Mind whenever I visit historical place of interests.

Everyday, I wake up to what appears to be a different day. What happened to yesterday? Did yesterday vanish into oblivion? Yesterday is very much alive and kicking. A new day is simply experiencing another "slice" of eternity. A new day is the equivalent of watching a particular channel on television. While your focus is on one channel, you don't appear to be aware of hundreds of other channels going on at the same time, yet, they are still there.

Returning to the concept of what is "real" and "unreal." If you are of the belief that "only love is real," you might consider sickness and suffering to be "unreal." Having that realisation might heal you of a particular disease. Just because you've been healed doesn't mean you've got rid of the disease permanently? You cannot get rid of anything, for everything exists for eternity in Universal Mind. Experiencing healing is making a choice whether to continue watching the same channel or switching to another channel. Whatever channel you decide to watch, the others will still continue for eternity.

Life is filled with unlimited experiences. You can choose what channel/experience you wish to watch or experience. You also get to choose how long you wish to experience that reality.

Personally, I choose channels I love watching whether they are considered to be "real" or "unreal"; for in Oneness there is nothing "real" or "unreal" just the One Television showing different channels.

Light and Love,
Enocia

Relationships - A Metaphor

Recently I went through a relationship dilemma. On the one hand I thought it would be nice to have a relationship. On the other hand, when I did attract the situation, I couldn't decide whether I could treat anyone as exclusive when I loved everyone. Then I watched an episode of Star Trek, called Fair Haven, which gave me a different perspective.

Tom Paris and Harry Kim, have designed a new holodeck program, a virtual reality set in an Irish village called Fair Haven. The ship is on a collision path with an "interstellar hurricane." Captain Janeway gives permission for the Fair Haven programme to run 24 hours a day so the crew can visit and keep their mind away from the approaching storm.

The first time Captain Janeway pays a visit to Fair Haven, she takes a shine to one of the holodeck characters, a bar man called Michael who is already married. When Janeway returns to the ship, she decides to make some adjustments to Michael: she asks the computer to make Michael taller, make him interested in literature and to delete his wife. The next time Janeway enters Fair Haven, Michael is her ideal guy and they develop a friendship which leads to a romantic liaison. Janeway finds herself falling in love with Michael. How can she have feelings for a hologram? She gets scared and doesn't show up for their next date. Janeway later realises that it doesn't matter whether Michael is a hologram, she can accept him for who he is and enjoy his company.

In the meantime the storm hits voyager. The crew has to use all their resources, including power from the holodeck suite, to weather the storm. This results in part of Fair Haven being destroyed. It will take 6 weeks for Paris and Kim to repair the programme. Janeway visits the holodeck character, Michael, and tells him she's going away for a while. Michael tells her he loves her. Janeway tells him she might return after six weeks. At the end of the episode, Janeway asks the computer to deny her further access to Michael's programmes so that she is no longer able to re-programme his personality.

The relationship between Janeway and Michael reminds me of intimate relationships. What if I meet someone I really like on a physical attraction level and he's not compatible in other ways? Would I reprogramme him the way Janeway did? That depends on one's interpretation. In the first instance, I would create a "programme" of someone who meets my ideal, i.e. put out the intent of what I wish to experience. If I meet someone who doesn't quite match up, there isn't much point "re-programming" the other. I would rather "re-programme" myself to remember always that the other is another aspect of myself; or "re-programme" myself to remember that underneath it all, we are all the same.

At the end of the day, in any relationship I am only being with myself. It's a matter of choosing which aspect of myself I wish to experience, accept my choice and have fun.

Otherwise I can always remain single knowing I am already complete being the Love that I am.

The Illusion of the Senses

Sometimes, after I've been in silence for a while, I notice sparkles of light on my body. It feels quite strange seeing your body as flesh on the one hand, and light on the other. Which is true? Can they both be true?

I believe the Light is Essence that is all around us albeit appearing invisible to the senses. Essence is who I am and as I focus more on Essence, it is only natural to experience Essence as light; though light is one way Essence clothes Himself.

I wonder whether I'm going to suddenly find myself appear as part Light, part flesh. That would be kind of freaky and funny at the same time.

I believe living as Essence doesn't necessarily mean I will disappear from the human senses. When I feel my body as weightless; when I'm doing something but it feels like empty space doing the work as it is effortless; when it feels as if I'm pure consciousness yet people can still perceive me with the senses; that is when I know I am living as Essence.

It matters not whether the senses continue to intepret my presence as flesh and blood. I know who I am.

I am Essence,

What If?

Earlier today I watched an episode of the sci-fi series, Stargate, where an alien life form first takes over their computer mainframe. When the computer mainframe is no longer sufficient, it takes over Major Carter's brain. The entity insists that Carter is still within though he has taken over her faculties. The rest of the episode is about how they manage to get Carter back to normal.

I find this an interesting idea. I sometimes feel as if the old me has been wiped out and taken over by some alien entity. There are other times when I feel as if there is still the old me within and this entity simply enhances the old me.

What if God is an alien entity with good intentions who works through compatible human instruments?

Hmmm!

I'm getting a lot of benefit right now so this invasion suits me for now.

In closing, the alien entity would like me to pass on this message:
